Clean, simple motel in a good location. Property itself (hard and soft fixtures) is fairly outdated but think the price reflects this. It's a good value. We did stay on a Saturday night and it was a bit noisy with music from a venue nearby but thankfully wasn't loud enough to impact our sleep negatively. Bed comfy enough. Large room. Good hot water and shower pressure.

Room was clean bed comfortable shower good a well done for these things. However no staff in reception when I arrived still no staff when leaving. But no breakfast ! That is not good 4 out of10 for that

Central location was great. Room size was good. Room servicing wasn't great ans several maintenance issues, plus cockroaches in the room.

Be very careful when booking this property if you plan on arriving for late check in. They forgot to leave our keys in the late check in safe and then tried lying about some bogus medical emergency story. We could not access our room or help and ended up sleeping in our car. The staff tried refusing to refund the money as well. The male staff member was rude and irate and would hang up when we would call to sort out our refund . Took an email threatening to report him to police for him to refund the money. Would avoid this place like the plague.

Handy location in Cessnock. I went for Christmas Lights at Hunter Valley Gardens. Its easy short drive to them. Room was spacious. Nice hot shower. Need to step into a bath to use shower. Bit slippery in bath use the railing in shower.

A pleasant one night stay.
Good value for money for a one night solo stay. Nice friendly service at the check in and the room was functionally perfect, if a bit aesthetically tired. A quiet and peaceful upstairs room, a comfortable bed with decent pillows, I had a good night's sleep, despite some light does come through from outside the curtains. Good shower and nice quality towels. Plenty of off-street parking available. Would definitely stay again.
