Words cannot describe the incredible experience the Owners and the property delivers. Truly exceptional from the moment booked and throughout our stay. We’re already recounting memories we cherish. Communication is top notch throughout. And WOW does the property deliver with beautiful grounds, an excellent pool experience, amazing bedroom and bathroom spaces, and toast worthy sunsets. The Owners have put their heart and soul into the home and the whole experience. My family left with our hearts uplifted and yearning to come back here. An experience to treasure.

My family (8 adults and a 4-year-old) visited Gianmatteo's and Christina's spectacular villa to celebrate a milestone birthday for our father. We had an incredible stay. The villa is gorgeous, comfortable, immaculately clean, and very well appointed and the surroundings are stunning. Whether it was drinking coffee and reading on the couches outside, cooling off in the beautiful and sizable swimming pool, watching the unbelievable daily sunsets over the Tuscan landscape, or enjoying a meal and card games together in the outdoor, covered dining area, we had an amazing stay. Gianmatteo and Christina were incredibly welcoming, informative, and responsive, as was the property manager Roberto. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Christina's mother--something not to be missed. I'm just sorry we couldn't spend more time here and hope we'll be able to visit again soon!

Our stay at Gianmatteo and Christina’s was beyond our wildest dreams. As many other reviewers have noted here, the photos do not fully prepare you for the beauty of the property. There are stunning views in every direction you look and the only thing better than the views was the warmth and hospitality you felt from the hosts. Our word of the week was, “wow.” We’re still saying it now having returned to the states. There are a lot of beautiful places to visit in the world, Gianmatteo and Christina’s home should be at the top of your list. We will be back! Thank you for everything.

We were a group of 10 visiting Tuscany for the first time. We did not know what to expect of the town of Certaldo. Well, the villa and the town were amazing! The villa has the most breathtaking views of the valley and the property is just stunning. 6 bedrooms have attached bathrooms and one bedroom has twin beds. The villa and property are immaculately kept and Cristina and Matteo are lovely to work with. Everything was perfect and can't wait to get back!

Our stay was perfect. The villa is situated in a spectacular location with a gorgeous view and nightly sunsets. It's even nicer than the pictures show. We appreciated the privacy of the many bedrooms with ensuite baths, the daily cleaning and maintenance - Simon was fantastic - the friendly and helpful hosts and property manager, the relaxing common spaces, the spacious and well equipped kitchen, the availability of a talented chef, etc. It felt like the best of a hotel and a home combined. Location is great for many easy day trips to both cities and wonderful hill towns. Really a perfect vacation for great value. Highly recommend. Oh to be still there!

Cristina und Gianmatteo are perfect hosts, always ready to support their guests in all respects. Simon, der philippinische „gute Geist“ kümmert sich um den Garten, bringt frisches Gebäck zum Frühstück und macht die Zimmer, wenn das gewünscht ist. Die Lage der Villa ist perfekt, ruhig und uneinsehbar gelegen, erreicht man in wenigen Minuten Fahrzeit alles was man so braucht: Supermarkt, Gemüsehändler, Metzger und einige sehr gute Osterien. Wir kommen wieder!

It's where you want to be for a holiday in Tuscany. The house is old world charm but maintained impeccably, very clean, with a fabulous property. There are days where we chose not to leave the home as it was so enjoyable with it's view, pool, games for the kids, kitchen well equipped and magical outdoor area to eat. The owners where very pleasant and helpful, getting us into a restaurant on our first evening as we arrived later than expected and hungry! Located near many perfect small towns where we enjoyed dinners, and an easy drive to the bigger ones (San Gimignano, Pisa, Siena, Florence) to visit and spend the day. We had a wonderful stay, and would choose this property again. Thank you Cristina and Gianmatteo.

We were very pleased with our stay at this, breath-taking view, Villa. The hosts (Gianmatteo and Cristina) were very friendly, helpful, and wonderful to our group. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine, à 4 familles avec enfants. La maisons est très confortables, très joliment décorée et totalement conforme à la description. Le paysage qui l'entoure est à couper le souffle. Jolie piscine sécurisée. Les repas préparés à domicile étaient délicieux, et servis avec soin ! Un grand merci ! Cristina et Matteo nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement. Très présents, ils ont été attentifs à nos besoins tout au long de la semaine.

The villa is very charming and very stylish and very well equipped. Both inside and outside. Plenty of sunbeds. Beautiful pool. 2 fantastic terrasses - one with sofas and one with a large diningtable and tabletennis. And everything is very well kept. Property owner is very forthcoming and helpfull.

This place is absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were part of a beautiful painting - the home and our surroundings were absolutely breathtaking. Cristina and Mateo greeted us with smiles and kindness and went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was as perfect as possible. The home is set up perfectly for both large and small groups. It is perfect for both families and for friends traveling together. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for a lovely dinner, but there are also amazing restaurants very close by. There are also great wineries close by that are a must see when you are in Tuscany. The bedrooms are spacious and all have their own bathrooms. The pool is situated in the perfect location and the sunset views are absolutely magical. The home owners were very responsive to all of our needs and responded immediately to all of our requests. They made great recommendations for activities and even made reservations for us for a wonderful dinner. The home is situated perfectly so that it is an easy drive to nearby small towns like San Gimignano, Siena, and Florence. Our family was very comfortable and loved our stay here and we can't wait to go back.

Everything you read and see about this villa is true...and than some. It is truly an amazing villa. All of the charm of 18th century old farm house with up-to-date modern flare that makes anyone feel right at home. The hosts are extremely friendly, provide an abundance of details, information and amenities that make you feel right at home. I can't say enough about this villa and what a treat it is to stay here. We had a super week in this great house; lot's of space in and around the house. Professional kitchen is well equipped. The pool is lovely and you will not get tired of the view. The sunsets we have seen were spectacular. This is clearly one of the best spots in Toscane. All the local info from Crisitina and Gian Matteo helped to make this another unforgettable week.
