"What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. "What a wonderful location close to the Rail Station which has the old world feel about it. Walk to the local hotel which has a lovely ambience.The grounds are immaculate, the interior charming and welcoming with two outdoor seating areas close to the home and others scattered amongst the gardens. I would definitely recommend it as a respite from busy living and an introduction to all this unique region has to offer."
