"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

However, it was also very hot inside (78F)when we checked in, and with only one fan, it took a long time to cool it down enough for us all to sleep. It would be best if the owners provided more fans, or had the cleaning staff start airing the house out, before check in time. "

"We had a great time and all the amenities were really nice. The huge trees that surround the treehouse are so beautiful in the morning looking up through the skylights. The hot tub was wonderful and the robes made using it so nice. We assume the cat that greeted us belongs to the property. He needed to fully explore the car and us when we arrived. Very cute and friendly."

"My husband and I travel frequently and stay in private homes whenever possible. We would rate Chez Zig Zag in our top three. The host has provided everything you could possibly need or want. The accommodations are well designed and decorated. I loved the light-filled rooms especially the kitchen and bath. We loved it so much that we cancelled our planned day trip to Victoria so we could enjoy the surroundings."

"Wish we could give more than five stars, this was by far the cleanest and most enjoyable VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless, everything was new and amazingly decorated. Amy and Brent have thought of every way possible to make you feel special and welcomed. "What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. "
