"Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"We arrived here late in the around midnight with our toddler and there was massive party in the lobby. The rooms were unkept and extremely small. There was also a smell in the room. This is not a hotel that I would recommend in the future."

"Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit."
