"I booked 7 months in advance. Three months prior to stay I had a change to my travel plans. I requested cancellation of the first night of my 9 night stay to accommodate my itinerary. I was told it was not possible. I sent them a copy of their own policy that showed it was allowed. Carstin (the property manager, I presume) said that they would discuss the request with “the team” and keep me posted. After 5 weeks of not hearing from him, I requested an update on the cancellation request status....

"Clean, roomy, convenient to shopping and restaurants, nice gas fireplace, responsive host but terrible mattresses, not enough towels, no coffee, need coat hooks and to fix the door blind (a window film would do)."
