"Easy check in & out via key code. Nice lounge & outside area. Would have been great if the bar was open during our stay but we were out of season and the bar opened Thursday to Sunday from memory. Plenty of tea/coffee/ice facilities. The bed was comfortable but unfortunately the pillows were not. They were extremely bulky and firm, quite possibly the biggest pillows I have ever seen so my neck was rather bent whilst using, therefore I had to sleep without. I woke up with achy neck. Would prefer...

"This was a perfect vacation spot to enjoy Vermont in September. Close to my medical conference in Manchester and near many fun places to visit. The cabin is well stocked…we had everything we needed to breakfast and some dinners and a nice projector screen to view tv. The indoor garage was a plus! We had our two dogs with us and they enjoyed the property as well as swimming and playing in the river that runs along the property. The road was a great place to walk along a stream. Farther up the...

"Everything was great. We would definitely stay here again."

"We stay at the Brook Wood Inn when visiting family in nearby Unity. This was our 2nd stay at the Inn and it is very relaxing place to stay. The common areas and kitchen is great, we always make our own breakfast and have a nice cup of coffee together each morning :)"

"Beautiful little get away that provided a nice rest while traveling. The inn was charming, very clean and quiet. Highly recommend!!"

"It was so relaxed and nice. We had a room with our three children. It was lovely. We didn’t take advantage of the kitchen, but it looked really nice."

"Didn't like that no staff was available or reachable! Power out - no response. Check-in problems - no staff or response. Coffee maker quit - nobody to help us or to inform on site in the moment Reservations were a mess due to "responses" from Expedia (our booking service), VRBO, and "Hosteeva" - the last 2 of which we never used! Who is in charge and why are they not there? The system sucks."

"Everything was perfect! Cozy place, comfy bed, hot shower, coffee in the am and location was perfect for skiing!"

"You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. "

"The venue is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable! We stayed three nights in a two-bedroom suite and I loved the coffee bar and access to the large kitchen and refrigerator. The only downside was the lack of communication during check-in and our stay. There’s no on-site staff, which can be tricky if you don’t have cell service. At one point, my son was locked out of his room due to a faulty door lock, and I couldn’t reach anyone for assistance. Thankfully, he was able to get in, but no...

"The property was easy to find. We arrived late and I was happy that the lights were on. Easy to find our room key and room. The big negative is our room was not cleaned. The beds were not made, there was some garbage in the room trash and the towels were used. Like I s"
