"The check-in process was easy, with clear directions. The location was central to everything I wanted to do and more. This is a one stop shop for a vacation because everything is within walking distance. The parking is off site at a parking structure, but was also close by. I would say this place is comparable to a Jr suit in a hotel, but with more privacy. I enjoyed spending my birthday/mother's day here!"

"Host was awesome and helpful! The property is very tight. To pull the sofa beds out you lose all walking space and cannot enter the kitchen. There is not enough room to store the couch cushions while the sofa beds are in use making even less space. There was a water leak the first day in the bathroom coming from the ceiling which we thought was condensation then seemed to stop until the last night. "There was no air conditioning and the property is directly across from a noisy bar, so you can choose to have all the windows closed and be hot or open the windows and be unable to sleep. The beds were futons with no sheets. The kitchen table and chairs were patio furniture. The sense of the place is the host putting in the bare minimum effort. It was a very disappointing experience and I recommend people instead stay at one of the many other places in the area."

"Let me start by saying I live out in the country in Colorado. I'm not used to all the people and all the noise. Hearing the ocean from the room was a beautiful thing, but I did not enjoy the rest of it. The weather was very warm and the condo could have used air conditioning. Fans just didn't get it. I got to spend my time with my daughter and granddaughter which made it all worthwhile."

"Segunda ocasión en este lugar (por error). Cambio de nombre, antes era el Riverleaf Inn, hace un año que me hospedé fue horrible, bastante sucio y descuidado. Este año, en mis descartados estaba en Riverleaf, no me percaté del cambio de nombre a The Alcala. Cambio bastante, luce limpio y renovado, pisos nuevos en habitaciones, incluyen el desayuno, aunque no pude aprovecharlo. A pesar de tener una mejor experiencia que el año anterior, me queda esa mala sensación, y siento que aún hay cosas por mejorar. Cobran $150 dólares de depósito, que me parecen exagerados."
