"Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. "

No fridge in the room though which was a shame when staying for more than a night or two. Appreciated the free WiFi and decent TV. The downside was the lack of information about room cleaning times over the Christmas period. We stayed for 5 nights/6 days and only got our room cleaned (and bins emptied) twice as we kept “missing” the cleaning window,...

"Think 1960s guest house at the seaside. Cosmetically pleasing. Bed soft and clean but tidy looking behind the initial glance. Worn out, damp/smoke residue where it has soaked in walls over the years. Lots of chips in furniture. Plasterboard smashed in annex and falling off wall Two in a room one packet of biscuits. When we went to switch TV on layers of dust behind it. Grout coming away and missing in shower. Towels thin and harsh. Wish we had chosen a premier inn for night same cost better...

"I booked for 4 nights,stayed for the first then left,i think that says it all,the room stank of weed.when i got home i had to wash ALL of my clothes,including the ones i hadn't worn that where hanging in the wardrobe...dreadful experience "

"Lovely hotel, friendly "

"The public areas are lovely. The pool area is dirty looking and very shabby, I’d take flip flops. Rooms are dated and could do with a deep clean. In desperate need of a refurbishment and deep clean. Breakfast was warm and not very appetising."
