"Loved our stay at the Caboose!"

"Perfect stay in Charlevoix in a very nice neighborhood just a 10 minute walk to Lake Michigan, a 20 minute walk to downtown, or a 20 minute walk to Lake Charlevoix. Owner/property manager was extremely helpful. He has a paddleboard that we used and that turned out to be a lot of fun for all of us. House was very clean, everything worked well. There was plenty to do in and around Charlevoix like fishing, and mushroom houses, and feed the fish and hiking and golf and swimming and boating. Already...

"Perfect location. Cozy and rustic home with only one other cottage on the road. Very private. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the side screened in porch."

"The setting is beautiful. The house is quirky and charming. Decor really leans into the rustic. I think we were the second or third visitors to the property and they were still working out a few things, but would definitely recommend to a family with older kids. There is only one bathroom and no dishwasher, but the outdoor amenities (fire pit, dock, lake) are excellent."

We brought our own food and there were plenty of pots, pans, utensils, dishes and glasses for our stay. Skiing was easily accessible right out the back to Alpine chairlift. "It was just the right size for two people. Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom. Just what was needed. Our host was very responsive to the one issue we had with the coffee maker not working quite right, and by the time we got back home for the day, there was a new one waiting for us. "This place was perfect for a skiing weekend with friends! The hot tub and sauna were clean and felt soo nice after a long day to decompress. There were a ton of space heaters, extra blankets, towels and fans available to use which was amazing for our big group. Very close to downtown Boyne city as well!"

"We had an amazing stay at the Torch Lake House! The home was nestled in the backyard trees which made the stay feel real cozy. The inside of the house had a wonderful clean, open, and light feel that was very inviting. Every detail was attended to that allowed for a wonderful experience. It was in close walking distance to the beautiful Torch lake. We even enjoyed using the two kayaks provided. And in the front yard, we grilled up some delicious fish we caught on Lake Michigan.
