"The house was amazing, the location was perfect I could see the ocean from the living room. The only issues were the flooded roads and a few lights with dead bulbs but the flooding is understandable since its so close to the ocean. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back."

"We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. We were up in the area of my brother’s engagement party. It is in like a shared multi family house but we never once heard the other tenants. It was exactly as pictured online. The futon was pretty comfortable too! The real bed was also great. The host, Scott, was also extremely responsive. My only negative thing to say is that it did not have a cookie sheet, but we bought a foil one to use which was totally fine. They even had a whole drawer of spices...

"My family and I, rented this beautiful BNB to stay in while in town for my Grandmothers 90th Birthday. The home was exactly as pictured on the site, it was by far the cleanest and best taken care property that we have rented through VRBO! We were beyond impressed by the Host Eddie and his home! "Stayed at Coastal Retreat for a weekend visit with son who attends Fairfield University, brought both sets of parents and teen daughter (ages ranging 73-16), plenty of room and able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner with son even in attendance. Wonderful area, close walk to beach and easy to get to downtown Fairfield and university. Very clean and welcoming! Greg was wonderful to work with and answered any question we had that came up both prior and upon arrival. The only thing we would mention...

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was set up perfectly for two families traveling together. The beds were comfy and we loved the outdoor showers. There were only two bikes for 9 of us so we ended up renting. There were also not enough beach chairs and some were not in great shape. The fridge in the kitchen needed to be replaced and there were not enough coffee cups and dishes."

"The house is small but it has everything you need. The ocean was lovely to watch and good scavenging for rocks and sea glass. Very private place. My pup and I had a good time!"
