"Came for my husband’s birthday. He was able to catch a few fish, which was the goal. We very much enjoyed the peace of the water and a nightly fire, which we can’t do at our home. The lake is so large, we felt like we were at the ocean. Pelicans in Ohio!?!?! They were fun to see. Also had a few bald eagle sightings. I let the typewriter get some fresh air and spent some time in writer’s retreat. The cabin was perfect. The host couldn’t have made the experience any better—it was a delightful...

"Second time to stay. Great property for weekend getaway with kids. Allows dogs. Neighbors friendly. Safe, quiet at night. Pool, splash pad, playground are nice. Mini golf course in bad shape and no longer usable. Hopefully this will be updated and made usable for future. WiFi did not work for us unless sitting at the pool. Not a big deal but for those who rely on connection could be a let down. Easy check in and check out. Recommend Max’s Dairy for ice cream a short drive away. Issue...
