"This is a true mountain cabin quiet and relaxing close to many class A trout streams along with breathtaking overlooks and vistas! The kids had a blast at the stocked pond on the property! The owner of the cabin was great with communication! Will definitely be looking to plan another trip back to camp buttercup!"

"This house is nestled away on a quiet street. The home is beautiful and comfortable, we felt very safe here. The water/shower did have a sulfur smell which I learned is normal for homes like this, and wasn’t a huge deal. We had a great time on our first visit to the PA Grand Canyon and Cherry Springs State Park. We are already talking about coming back! "

"Had a wonderful trip here! The location of the cabin is great, the property is great. We saw beaver, deer, rabbits, bald eagles, red and gray squirrels and on a scenic ride we took nearby we saw a black bear. It rained a few days of our stay so we were able to enjoy games inside. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is nicely stocked and for a longer stay there is a in unit washer and dryer available. It was our 4th time staying in this cabin and definitely will not be our last....

"This place is located less than 2 miles away from one of the various look-out stations for the Grand Canyon of PA. It is also 15 minutes away from the heart of Wellsboro. "The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! The house was perfect sized and offering room to hang out inside as well as outside by the fire pit. We cooked three dinners and found the kitchen perfect for our needs. "The A-frame was very clean and very quite. Very peaceful place to stay and relax. There was a couple of restaurants that was closed by and had good food. I highly recommend it and we would definitely come back."

"The house was a thoughtfully decorated and comfortable space. It was close to the PA Grand Canyon and sort of close to Cherry Springs. You can see the stars from the backyard when the moon is right. It’s close to the main road so keep in mind that you’ll hear the road when you’re outside. It’s perfectly quiet inside though. We would stay here again."

"Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet...
