"The room smelled and felt very cold and not welcoming at all. The bathroom almost felt like a jail cell. The tub faucet always dripped and the shower water was cold/maybe a dash of warm. The floors were dusty, the tv remote didn’t work and the plug in’s for the lamps didn’t work. We stayed there as it was close to Iowa City hospital and my husbands mom is in the icu. We will find a different hotel next time."

"This historic building now turned hotel is truly a gem! Friendly, helpful staff, super-clean rooms, and the interior was remade with such love and care for history, such that the halls are lined with so many fascinating artifacts and stories from the past that it ranks nearly as a museum. "Es un hotel exelente , la estructura todo esta nuevo las camas super comodad , pero el personal de limpieza pesimo no limpian bien van a dañar la reputacion del hotel , deberan contratar un empresa de limpieza mejor ya que las empleadas no les importa no hacen el aseo correcto y esto no es bueno para ellos , de resto la estructura nueva las camas y todas las instalaciones exelentes "
