Absolutely perfect location

My BFF and I just stayed in Helen's Cottage for two nights and we had a wonderful time. The location near everything is perfect! It's so cozy and comfortable and we loved the decor. It was like staying in a friend's home. Beds were comfy and there were lots of towels and blankets and pillows. We will definitely be back again soon!

The cottage is very nice and well equipped with everything you might need. Had two issues. On the first night I attempted to take a shower and thee was no hot water. Luckily I have a strong electrical background and was able to find the tankless heater had tripped and I was able to reset it. The second issue is the sloping floor. I am handicapped and have to use a cane and the floor caused some issues with me walking through the cottage.

Walking distance to everything!

Nice house, comfortable, clean, had everything we needed. Great location, it was a quick walk to just about anywhere worth seeing. We rented a golf cart for a day, they even delivered and picked it up, and had a great time buzzing around town and visiting all the little shops. My only complaint is some noisy neighbors, the guy across the street was playing really loud music most of the time, and the condo area behind the house must have had some kind of big biker party, they went all night long, but other than that, it was a great trip. I recommend staying here to see the sights.

Perfect little courtyard

Very clean, nicely decorated. The floor does slop a little, and the master bath room you will need to adjust the showerhead toward the inner wall, so it doesnt leak onto the floor. Beds were comfortable enough. The courtyard was very relaxing and my favorite part of the house. Town is back up with the exception of the grocery store, Duncans, and the island restaurant. Steamers is back open andvthe dock outside has new everything, and the staircase is all new. Had a really good time as always in this laid back town. "A drinking town with a fishing problem"

Work in Cedar Key

My husband was here for work, so of course when I can, I love to go with him and Cedar Key was this trip. We loved the cottage, like a home away from home, so nice! We will definitely love to stay again in any future trips, work or play.

Great house!

Wife’s Birthday Weekend

Our 1st VROB rental. Sleepy little town not terribly far away from our home in Tampa Bay Area. All businesses are local. We did Frisbee Golf / both Museums and 3 local restaurants and a local food truck. Did have some pesky ants but not terrible!

Blissful Cottage

Miss Helen's is just the right place to kick off your shoes and have a restful Cedar Key vacation. It's also a great home base to enjoy all that community offers. Whatever your needs, this clean and comfortable house has everything you need to enjoy your magical time in marvelous Cedar Key.

Cute town!

We visited Cedar Key instead of staying in a hotel for a softball tournament in Gainesville. Even though it was an hour drive, we enjoyed walking the waterfront and park areas when we were there! On Saturday, the downtown area came alive with fisherman, visitors and locals enjoying the water and the shoppes. I highly recommend visiting the area and staying a spell!! Our cottage was cute, well stocked and very comfortable. At Mrs. Helens, we were conveniently located to the waterfront and everything was in walking distance. We were very pleased with our entire experience.

Bed was very comfortable (back bedroom). Great location, handy to everything! Brand new vinyl plank flooring made the house look really nice. Management office is very professional.

Great Location

We had a lovely stay at Miss Helens. The house was comfortable with all the necessities and then some in a great location. Check in and check out was easy and the property was well maintained and managed. You can walk to everything (but renting a golf cart is more fun).

Great location for walking

Really enjoyed the cottage, it was fully stocked and nothing additional could be asked. The location for walking into town was excellent. One suggestion, a lamp for the corner of the living room for more indirect lighting would be nice. The fan really came in handy during the day, the sun did warm up the cottage quickly. The outlets in the back bathroom did not work, appears a wiring issue. Cedar Key is so laid back and everyone was so nice. I come from a small community and love the small town feel.
