This was a great place for a family reunion! Several roomy living spaces and lots of bedrooms - it was great! The hot tub and outside play areas were nice too.

We have stayed here several times and love it. The cabin is cozy, yet spacious. The kids love the game room and we all enjoy the hot tub. It feels like a remote getaway and the sunsets are beautiful!

A perfect getaway

This is a wonderful property for big groups. There are paces to be together, places for quiet and lots of things for everyone to do. The game room is our favorite. Dawn is wonderful at answering questions quickly so that problems are taken care of.

Love this property

While it is about a 15-20 minute drive into Cedar City, the beauty of this area trumps the drive. It's a large home and property and Dawn has everything you could possibly need. Even a roaster which we made use of! The was plenty of sleeping areas and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and other necessities. I was worried that my grandkids would be upset about there not being any snow but they have fun none the less.

Family Friendly Ranch Home

Overall it was wonderful. Lots of space so I never felt like we were on top of each other and there were 20 of us! We used the shooting range, game room and hot tub - until it got murky probably because we used it a lot! We could have called to get more chemicals but because it was a holiday we didn't want to inconvenience the hosts. We even brought a camper and there was still lots of space. There were plenty of towels and we just kept the laundry going for towels. With a group this large we could have used more garbage bags but other than that, we had a great time and would do it again! This would be a fun summer place as well with all the outside patio/picnic tables and playground for kids that we didn't take advantage of with November weather. If you are looking for a place to bring a large group, this is it!

Our second time here

We stay in Cedar City every October for the Shakespeare Festival. This is our second time staying at this location. It's 20 minutes from town, which is both a pro and a con. Being secluded so you can see the night sky, have some space, and be in the country is amazing. Forgetting something at the store is ... what it is. I prefer being in the country rather than being in the town itself. The house is great with plenty of space and is exactly how it is portrayed in the listing. It's comfortable, and everyone loved it. We enjoyed it two years ago, and we were happy to come back. It was very clean and had everything we need and expect from a VRBO. We really enjoy this location. I'm sure we'll come back to this location in the future.

Remote & Serene

We loved the location and the property. Highlights were the large gathering spaces, the game room, and the views. We didn't get the chance to try out the pool or hot tub, but we wish we had. Upstairs there's a bit of an old-house smell, and you can tell it's a pet-friendly home. Many of the mattresses were showing their age and had a lot of character. The checkout process is pretty normal -- maybe a little bit more work than average in our experience. Dawn was very responsive and generous. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Family Reunion

There was plenty of space and lots to do, but it’s clearly an older home and some of the furnishings were quite worn out. Squeaking doors and mattresses. One sofa was especially old and worn. For the most part, things were clean, other than lots of dust and cobwebs. The host was very accommodating. The neighbor, who is the handyman, was also very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, everything you could possibly need. The family room was nice and spacious. The kids had a lot of fun on the playground and playing air hockey. They also liked the pool.

Better than expected,

The perfect place for our group of 16. Activities, games and plenty to keep busy all day. Nice pool, bigger than pictured. Kitchen had so much, for everything we wanted to cook. 2 kitchen tables-1in the front room plus barstools, so we had plenty of seating for meals. Comfortable beds. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs. Extra chairs to use also. The house stayed nice and cool all day. Ceiling fans and other fans available to help out with keeping a comfortable temperature. Communication with property managers was prompt.

Great for all ages!

Our family of 12 (9 adults + 3 kids) found this place to be perfect in every way! Pool, hot tub, and game room were all very well utilized. Well-equipped and very functional kitchen for feeding a big group. Lots of space to be together, and the ones who needed to could still find a quiet spot to be alone. The outside spaces were well-equipped with BBQ's (both gas and propane), plenty of seating, and we loved the firepit! Our serious hikers had easy access to Zion for day trips. We hope to visit this one again!

Family trip to Utah National Parks

The owner, Dawn, was very helpful and informative leading up to and during our stay. The house was wonderful and the perfect size for our family members. It is located in a countryside setting, away from town (roughly 20 min.) And very well located to make day trips to Zion (only 26 min from Kolob Canyon), Cedar Breaks, Snow Canyon, and Bryce just to mention a few. All appliances worked perfectly and the swamp cooler worked great to keep the house cool, all you have to do is follow the directions. Would stay at this house again!

Graduation to remember!

Our stay was beyond our expectations! Everything was as it was described plus more. Dawn was amazing to work with and was more than helpful! We are so thankful that she shared her home with our family as we celebrated our daughter’s graduation from SUU!! Made priceless memories that will last a lifetime thanks to our beautiful stay! Good for non-fussy large groups

Pros of this place: lots of room to spread out for multiple generations, game room really fun for kids, huge kitchen to visit and cook in, quiet, lovely stars at night, nice hot tub, close to Cedar City, affordable. Possible cons for some: hot water in master suite only worked a few minutes at a time, and this was clearly a family's home, had lots of religious decor (didn't bother us, but might be an issue for some). So, those fussy about hot water, decor, or sheet thread count might prefer something fancier. Also the thermostat was set to 50 when we arrived on a night that it was snowing, so house took awhile to warm up. Still good overall, great value when needing space and quiet!
