Beautiful home and outstanding view

We enjoyed our stay. My husband mentioned at least five times that the view was one of the most amazing he has seen from any home we have rented for vacations. It was stunning, and we enjoyed the view when we were inside the house as much as when we sat on the deck. We had plenty of space for our family of four adults and it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again.

Much needed break

The property was amazing. It was very peaceful and was the perfect setting for a much needed break for the whole family. There was plenty to do, but we also enjoyed the perfect location to do absolutely nothing if we wanted.

Lake trip

We are from Gulf Shores. We were looking for a getaway with our kids and grandkids. This was perfect. We brought kayaks and rented a boat one day. We spent most of the day swimming in the lake. Also played pool and table tennis at night. I don’t think we left the house for 5 days.

A dream trip for our family!

The View is aptly named since it has one of the most impressive views of Lake Weiss. We spent many years on this lake in the past and this beautiful property gave us a chance to re-live great memories and make new ones for our growing family. Thanks for a great experience!

Great family weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our weekend at The View on Weiss Lake. Beautiful view of the lake and a nice covered pier that was great for fishing. We had everything that we needed, except enough time to do everything we wanted. Kids enjoyed the large game room and we would’ve used the grill if we had stayed longer. The house was clean and there was plenty of space. The beach towels, throws, and a few other things provided added to the feeling of being at home. Large room upstairs with legos that my 6-year old was happy to see since that’s one of his favorite toys right now. Weather was really cold and rainy so the kids already decided that we need to go back in the summer.

View is perfect, property needs some TLC

The View is a perfect name for this property. Beautiful morning, noon and night of Weiss Lake. The property is nice but needs some maintenance. Here are suggestions - Screen doors are weapons with sharp staples and wire exposed. All cabinets need little plastic or cork tips for quieter closing. Dock walkway needs broken and rotten wood replaced to be considered safe. Trash bins were full when we got there, so our trash was bagged and placed in game room. Be sure to take your own bath towels, there were limited supply insufficient for 7 adults and 4 children.

Great Getaway spot for Multiple Families!

This home was great for our group of 3 families with children ages ranging from 5-12. The play room outside was a fun added bonus that the kids (and parents) enjoyed! Great seating areas outside for adults to spend time together, large dining table inside. View is spectacular. It was very convenient to have some everyday use items in the house (seasonings, bathroom toiletries, extra garbage bags, etc). The home is perfectly located so that you feel very secluded but not too far of a drive from some fun things to do with your group! Only thing we would have like to have available was a TV upstairs for the children.

Guys on the lake!

The View is one of the best properties that I have rented. The home is spacious and well appointed. The wrap around deck is wonderful and the views of the lake are spectacular. Sunrise with coffee is a grand experience. Tonya is the best host that I have encountered. She was always available and very patient explaining the nuances of the property. Great place for a getaway with family and friends. 5 Stars!!

Beautiful location!

This house was in a really beautiful and remote area of northeast AL. While it was pretty far from most things to do, the house was right on Weiss Lake and awesome to just float around in. Tonya was quick to answer any questions and take care of anything that needed to be taken care of! Thanks Tonya! The beds were all comfy, AC and grill worked great and we loved hanging on the dock! The internet is really slow but if you are looking for that remote area to be in then it doesn’t really matter! All in all a good time and we are well rested!

Beautiful Lake Getaway!

Finding an affordable house on the water to accommodate our large group is always difficult, but this lake house fit the bill! A remote lake house that is close enough to attractions to make the adventure as fun as it is relaxing. From the youngest (4) to the oldest (76), all 12 of us loved our stay!
