Magnolia Overlook was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving Family Reunion! This is a bi annual event that has been going on for years for 40 family members! This compound is the best! Beautiful main house! Best stocked and organized! Very clean! Lots of amenities and activities for the kids! Heated pool and hot tubs as well as golf cart to transport folks to the other homes in the compound was an added benefit! The host was easy to access with questions and booking w VRBO went great!

The property was exactly as described, absolutely stunning. We stayed with 28 cousins and we had the best time! The property manager and owner were amazing from before we even arrived. They were always available and responded to any questions that we had. I would absolutely stay here again. We rented the majority of the homes on the property and everyone was happy with their stay. You will not be disappointed with your vacation here! Thank you so much for everything!

Another Great Year!

We love this place. It is perfect for our family. The days on the lake with the kids playing in the water are precious memories we hope they hold a lifetime. We did family pictures there this year and they were great. We will be back again next year, already booked.

Great place for large groups

This property accommodated our entire family and friends. This property had the most attention to detail than any property we have ever stayed at. The hosts were super attentive to all of our needs. Thank you, Dave, Ann, and Destenie.

HIGHLY Recommend

My (new) husband and I had our wedding here in November. I could not recommend this place enough, the property/staff and everything was absolutely perfect. The venue was spacious, clean and well organized. Every one that was there with us had a great time and there was ALWAYS something to do for any age. Definitely a weekend we will never stop talking about. Highly recommend this venue!

Great hostess

Everything was as described. Great location, beautiful views, very well stocked with everything you need to host a large group. The owner’s responded to any questions immediately. We enjoyed our stay here more than any other Vrbo we have rented. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Wedding Weekend

The house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. It was a huge plus that every full size bedroom had their own full bathroom and that the bunk beds weren’t actual bunk beds but full sized so it fit 2 couples on them. The communication was always fast, pleasant, and clear. We loved our stay! It couldn’t have been any better!

Wedding Party and Family

Absolutely stunning! Care given to guests and property was top notch with incredible customer service. They have thought of everything…from hospitality boxes, beach towel, fun games, lighting, extra bags (trash, ziplocks, etc), umbrellas, hooks to hang towels on, TVs, and any detail in between. Kitchens were fully stocked and even labeled to find things easily!!!The team was so easy to communicate with helpful in every way. I highly recommend renting the golf cart. We will be back and are thankful for our experience!

Book this place!

I can’t brag enough about this venue. From excellent communication to the finest attention to detail the hosts were incredible. Not to mention the actual property and amenities. This place was a cozy home, resort, and event facility all wrapped into one. My family of seventy was blown away and me and my husband enjoyed the best untraditional wedding we could have dreamed of.

So much to do

The was so much to do while there it was crazy. No one was ever bored because there is just too much to do. Everybody was speechless when they arrived at how beautiful and large it was.

Ladies retreat

We had a great time! Group of ladies from my church enjoyed a great weekend fellowshipping with one another. Accommodations are beautiful. Easy to get to. Only negative i would say is parking is down a hill and across the road. It was raining while we were there so that made it a little inconvenient. Well supplied with everything we needed. Would love to come back in the summer.

Exceeded Expectations!

We brought a group of 20 young adults for a retreat and this well exceeded our expectations! The pictures genuinely don’t even do it justice to how beautiful the house and views are. Very spacious and perfect layout. So many little touches that many probably don’t even notice - but as a fellow wedding venue owner, we noticed!! The owners were so easily accessible, reached out many times to make sure we didn’t need anything, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The very same day we checked out, we booked for next year and added an extra night! You will not regret staying here!

We feel so lucky to have found this BEAUTIFUL venue for our wedding! Everything about it was amazing — from the gorgeous views to the beautiful houses and the incredible staff who made it all come together. It was truly perfect in every way.The views are absolutely breathtaking — the perfect backdrop for a lakeside wedding. The arbor area overlooking the water made for a stunning ceremony setting, and the houses on the property are gorgeous, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could have possibly needed for the weekend.There’s so much to enjoy on the property that we barely felt the need to leave all weekend. Everything we needed for a perfect weekend was right there. The beautiful setting and relaxing atmosphere made it easy for everyone to unwind and truly enjoy themselves. It made for such a fun and memorable weekend for everyone!Dave, Ann, and Destanie were an absolute pleasure to work with. A huge shoutout to Destanie, who was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire process — her communication, organization, and support leading up to (and during) the wedding were beyond amazing. I can’t thank her enough for helping us create such a magical experience.If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a weekend getaway wedding, this is it. Between the scenery, the accommodations, and the outstanding staff, it's truly a dream venue. We will be cherishing these memories forever!

Great location; great renters

This property provided a beautiful and comfortable place for out of town family and friends to gather together to celebrate the life of my recently departed mother. The owners were very accommodating when some of our family arrived a couple of hours early, and they offered us a complimentary late checkout without our needing to ask. Everyone there complimented us on what a beautiful location we had chosen. The truth is we had asked the owners about the suitability of another one of their properties, and they promptly replied and redirected us to this one. We were concerned that it might be difficult for people to find, but in the age of smart phones and gps navigation, everyone made it without incident. The young children absolutely loved the tic-tac-toe blocks that were out on the table - I'm surprised none of them got lost! Overall it was a great experience at a difficult time in our family's lives.

Could not have asked for a better experience

In searching for a place to stay for our church's "Girls Getaway" weekend we had a few criteria. Lot of large gathering spaces, hot tub preferred, and lots of things to do in the area that appealed to different personalities (lake, shopping, hiking, etc). This location filled every single thing on our list! We could not have asked for a better experience. From the first communication we were impressed...the house inventory spoke our love language and helped so much! The care of our group was amazing! Then we arrived and I can say nothing else other than everyone kept asking "how do we tell the owners how much we appreciate their attention to detail?" The hospitality boxes in each bathroom, the umbrellas, the stocked supplies, the ease of check in and check out...all.of.it! I could never thank Dave, Ann and those that work with them enough for the weekend they provided the absolutely perfect setting for! Some were talking of coming back with family, renewing vows here instead of the beach setting they'd planned, etc etc...We can not wait to come back! It's perfect in every single way!

Williams Family Vacation

We arrived a couple of hours earlier traveling from Louisiana with several of our elderly family members. We parked across the street in the parking lot from the Magnolia and were greeted by Chris. He informed us that it was early and they had a few things that needed to be taken care of but as soon as they were done he would get us checked in. We told him know worries we would just enjoy the scenery until then. The host from began to the end kept me posted on everything. One of the days we were there it rained she text some activities that we could do. I have stayed some many places and this place tops them all, every need was met and this home was accommodating for our 89 year old to our 20 year old. The pictures does not do this place any justice seeing it in person is so breathe taking. Posting pictures of our family vacation I had many people asking about Magnolia and that it looks so peaceful and relaxing......That's exactly what it is. Would love to have just a ladies vacation here. At this home you only needed to bring clothes
