Next door dogs were a bit annoying with all their barking, when we were there, but thankfully we were gone every day to beach, hike’s and wine tasting. The shower had great water pressure and hot water that last while taking a shower. I loved the outside shower with hot water as well to wash off the sand from the beach, especially for my dog. Definitely will return again

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here in Cayucos and it was our first time visiting the area. The bungalow is literally steps from the ocean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is so cute and very quiet. The property manager was easy to get ahold of and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and which beaches were the best for beach-combing which is a favorite past time of ours. Will be coming back to this great rental next year for our 26th anniversary.

Have visited several times, always clean and perfect for 2 people and our small dogs. Property owner always available for any questions and is extremely helpful with requests or concerns. Have absolutely no complaints; this place is fantastic with great beach access. I'm sure we'll return again in the near future!

I loved this cottage! Family was staying nearby and this gave me my own space while enjoying them all. There is a very comfortable living area, small but well supplied kitchen, and a large bedroom with closet and dresser. The host is easy to contact if need be. It was wonderful being just a very short walk to the beach and we were able to catch the sunset most evenings. The cottage is perfect and I hope to stay there again!

This was the perfect place to stay. I could get up in the morning drink my coffee and do yoga while my husband was still sleeping and then walk a half block to the beach when he got up. We have friends that live in Morro Bay and it was literally a five minute drive. Plus Carol was a great host who answered my quiestions and offered information about the area.

My dog and I stayed 4 nights at the cottage. The cottage is perfect for one or 2 adults -as stated in the description. It looks small from the outside, but it is a very adequate 1 bedroom with full bath, small kitchen, table for two dinning and very comfortable living area apartment. There is a large VRBO rental house in front of the cottage. There is a patio in between the two. In fact, in the picture of the front of the cottage, the covered table is on that patio. The large house is a two story. Their back deck looks down on the cottage. The time period I was there the big house was not rented and my dog and I had the property to ourselves. The driveway runs along the side of the big house all the way to the cottage. Normal parking for the cottage is on the street (the space is marked with a reserve sign). The driveway is reserved for the big house, but since it wasn't occupied when I was there I had the driveway. It made unloading and loading the vehicle a breeze. You can't beat the location - one house away from Pacific Ave.! October can be cool and cloudy, but we enjoyed perfect Fall weather: cool mornings and blue sky and sunshine!

Property owner is very friendly, helpful and great communicator through VRBO messages & texts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beach cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cottage neat and clean. Our little dog enjoyed his walks along the beach and surrounding neighborhood. A great place to relax and enjoy the coast.

This was our fourth time staying at the cottage with our dogs. It is still as cozy and comfortable as ever with some new updates. It is in a great location near the beach and perfect for dog guests. The outdoor shower is great for cleaning them up after the beach. We will be back again soon.

This cottage was a very nice place to stay... close to the beach, close to town and close to many activities in nearby coastal destinations. While we were there, we met the owner, who was very nice and welcoming.The only downside was the noise from construction happening next door put a damper on the serenity we had hoped to find.

The cottage is perfect for 2 and very quiet. There is access to the beach a few blocks away and the drive to local restaurants in Cayucos or Morro Bay is very short and Sea Shanty is a short walk for some excellent food in large portions.

Comfy bed; good shower pressure. Very quiet at night. We walked on the beach every day. We ate at Schooner's and The Sea Shanty, and got take out from Federico's, Surfside Pizza, and Thai Elephant in Morro Bay. We hiked on the Estero Bluffs, Fiscalini Ranch in Cambria, and took a day trip to the Carrizo Plain National Monument.
