Welcome to your breezy beach escape! This bright and contemporary four-bedroom retreat—made up of two side-by-side bungalows—places you just steps from the sand and surf in laid-back Cayucos. With space for up to 12 guests, it’s the ideal coastal haven for families or groups looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy everything this charming beach town has to offer.
Inside each space, you’ll find vibrant, open-concept interiors thoughtfully designed for connection and comfort. Please note: the bungalows do not have air conditioning, but the coastal breeze and ceiling fans keep interiors comfortable year-round.
The living areas invite you to kick back on plush seating, spin a record on the turntable (in select units), or unwind with a movie night on the TV. Fully equipped kitchens with barstool seating make it easy to gather for everything from pancake breakfasts to evening charcuterie and wine.
Each bungalow includes two thoughtfully styled bedrooms with clean, coastal décor, plus a bonus sleep sofa in the living room for extra guests. Bungalow 230 is ADA-accessible, with lower countertops, wider clearances, and a more open layout throughout—carefully designed to accommodate wheelchair users and provide a more inclusive, comfortable stay. One of the homes also offers a private outdoor seating area—perfect for sipping your morning coffee or catching the ocean breeze at the end of the day.

Home Truths: - There is no washer or dryer, but an iron and ironing board are provided. - There is no air conditioning. - This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. - There is no washer and dryer in the unit, and it is not available for guest use within the condo complex. The nearest laundromat is Laundraland, located at 489 S Ocean Ave., Cayucos.
Parking Details: - Parking is located at the back of the building and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. - Street parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Location is great everything else is just okay, this property has the potential to be outstanding, however for the price we were disappointed. There is no A/C in the unit and even though it’s on the coast it gets warm in the unit, ceiling fans would definitely help. The appliances are outdated, old style coffee pot, old low end fridge, coil style stove ect. Our fridge was leaking water into the unit below us and they had to send a plumber in to cap it off while we were there, by the look of the floor under it, it’s been that way for a while. The beds are decent, but could be better, water pressure in the shower was weak and super slow to heat. So in summary this place has so much potential to be outstanding, location is perfect with great views and the layout is good but we really expected better.

Relax and enjoy
Our stay was very relaxing, just steps away from the water, and we had a very enjoyable time. The bungalows we stayed in were spotless and perfect for our family. We would love to do it again
