"We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. Its elevated position offers fantastic views over the harbour and it's just a short walk from all the shops, bars, and restaurants, making it an ideal location. Although our room was quite small, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight – freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious, with an excellent selection of cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, and yogurt available for guests to help...

"On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id...

"The rooms were freezing and when we informed the manager we were told that the heating was broken. It was about 3 degrees outside that night and they didn’t even attempt to give us an electric heater or anything."

Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. "The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room, which was very spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the rooms seemed to be sound-proof because it was so quiet and relaxing. Livermead beach is located across the street; the beach is beautiful, but the sand disappears at high tide, so be sure to plan your beach day around this. We also loved the stunning views from the rooftop terrace bar. We would love to return to Torquay and stay here...

Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days) Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments" Staff were very friendly and cheerful"

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It’s in a beautiful location with stunning views. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The only downside was that our room was very hot. Although two fans were provided, it was still difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"Absolutely no good if have any mobile issues, lots of stairs to entrance and then depends which room you are in then more stairs. Lovely family running this and very close to marina and pubs, cares etc. Excellent bus service. Parking is not on site."
