Great place on Caye Caulker

We stayed in number 6 and 8 for a group of 9 adults. The place was great. Just as advertised. Very clean!!! Close walk to everything but not in the thick of night time noise. Great place. Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing

This was the best location for our first stay in Belize as a family of six! It had all of the necessary amenities, bath towels, pool towels, toiletries, coffee pot, and a safe. It was an easy walk to everything and we loved using the paddle boards and kayaks. We rented bikes one day and took them across the split to bliss beach, which made for a great day!! It was also great having beer and sodas for purchase in the office. This was a great place to stay, all the amenities of a rental house plus the service of a hotel!

Great Spot in Caye Caulker

The check-in process is super easy and the rooms are spacious and clean. This is a great spot for family or friends to come enjoy the caye. We rented bikes from their office and it was a very convenient way to get around. They also have a private dock with lounge chairs that is the perfect spot to relax. Couldn’t recommend staying here more!

We loved our stay here. The condo was really spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the balcony overlooking the pool and the hammock on our balcony that we could lounge in. The lounge chairs on the docks were comfortable and the view beautiful. It was easy walking distance from restaurants and entertainment without all the noise of being right next to those places. We would highly recommend this place.

Immaculate Property

We stayed in Unit 6, and had everything we needed! The property is pristine, and the staff were more than helpful. My only note is how the property is laid out was not super clear. We did not realize how many units there were. Not that it was crowded or busy, but just what our view would be from the unit. Overall, do not hesitate as you will be more than comfortable at the property!

A Week in Paradise

Velento is an amazing property in every way possible. All the workers go above and beyond especially Johnny and Kimberly. They were so helpful with any questions and quick with any requests. The owners are super friendly as well. Caye Caulker is a beautiful island and we couldn’t have picked better accommodations.

Perfection!

The home was well appointed with everything you could need. Comfortable beds, great towels and linens, perfectly stocked kitchen and great layout for a small family. The patio was wonderful to relax on with a book overlooking the pool. The grounds and staff are beyond top notch - Don and Nazle are absolutely wonderful on site managers helping with anything you might need. The location is great and just a few minute bike ride to “downtown” and the split. We’ll be staying here again and again!

Fantastic Experience and Stay

Everything about the property and experience was awesome. The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed for our family. The pool was outstanding and the dock was beautiful with great views. Nicest rental property on the island

This our 2nd stay with Don and Nazle as our hosts. They are always available and took care of all our needs. The Velento penthouse was clean, comfortable and on the relaxing side of the island. We enjoyed the pool and the game corn hole on the sand. We plan on coming back again. This place is perfect for a family reunion and getaway. Thanks another great vacation.

Loved it.

I am a terrible travel snob. (I was once a travel editor), and I am always fearful of properties that stamp 'Pampered Tourist' onto the local landscape. But this property did not do that. It was perfect, and there must have been a lot of thought put in by the owner and architect to achieve its lovely, local vibe. It was utterly comfortable, had a glorious position, a really lovely pool and just the right level of laid back luxury, but totally in fitting in with the Belizian surroundings. Some of the hotels in town were high rise, and stuck out like sore thumbs above the palm tree line. (Awful!) This property did not. It was clean, practical, spacious and had a lovely Caribbean feel. You just had to sit on the balcony, surrounded by waving palms, and bougainvillea, and immediately you knew you were somewhere special. I loved that it was out of town a way, so it was also very peaceful and quiet. At night, the stars were spectacular from the dock. A special shout out to Don and Nazle who were our hosts and could not have been more helpful and kind. They made us feel so welcome and part of a bigger Belizean community.... I loved talking to them and hearing about the island. I have recommended this place already to friends and won't hesitate to come back if they'll have us.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed for a week and had everything we needed. Don and Nazle (property managers) were responsive and helpful. Janet and groundskeeper (sorry, I don't think I asked for his name) were great and kept everything looking so nice and clean. Thank you to the Valento team for helping to make our week on Caye Caulker wonderful and relaxing.
