If you’re looking for a place for your family in Caye Caulker and like to be where it’s quiet but also easy to get to the “busy” area, the Valento properties at Palmetto are perfect, and only about 500 yards walk from the airport exit. Barbara’s Beach House was perfectly sizable for us and our 2 children. We loved snorkeling off the dock and swimming in the pool. Chef RP is grilling 100 yards down the street for one of the best and tastiest meals on the island. My wife enjoyed yoga and coffee at Weezie’s next door. Larry the bartender a few hundred yards up serving delicious drinks with a nightly bonfire, live music just passed there at Salty’s. You can also turn left on the main road and find where the locals live and there are some awesome take-away breakfast and lunch spots. There’s a convenience store 5 minutes walk away for beer or whatever you need. The bikes are very convenient to explore south, go up to the split, or explore North Caye Caulker. Book a trip with Captain Ron, he’ll pick you up from the Palmetto dock and take you to snorkel away from the crowds. The staff at Palmetto was kind and working hard to keep the grounds spotless. Just a top-notch stay at Barbara’s Beach House and we can’t wait to return. Thank you from the Davis family!

Stayed at Barbara's House with our family of five last week. Great place with lots of amenities. Great dock....we caught bonefish barracuda. Weezie's cafe next door had great food and drinks. My daughter and I had a wonderful massage on the dock. Staff was very responsive and helpful in scheduling golf carts and taxis. Highly recommend when visiting Caye Caulker!

Great views and quiet

We enjoyed staying on the quieter part of the island, while still being able to easily walk and bike to shops and restaurants, etc. The pool was lovely and refreshing. We regularly ate at the restaurant next door, as it was delicious, had lots of options and very convenient. Yoga was also right nextdoor. Bikes were easy and cheap to rent for a day. We also took the free paddleboards. The house itself was beautiful as well. Unfortunately, I did not have hot water whenever I showered, but I would stay here again.

Beautiful, well maintained property. House had all we needed plus beautiful wood throughout. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds.Awesome dock that we enjoyed every night.Very attentive to our needs.

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful time at Barbra's Beach House. The house is just as described and the pictures don't do it justice! Stunning! Perfect for our family of five with teenagers/young adults. Everyone had their own space to spread out. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful dock. The location was perfect; just a short walk to many great bars and restaurants. Thanks for the memories!

Cozy and comfortable house

We loved staying here! A bit too far to walk to the town center but easy bike ride. We rented a cart since we had a baby with us Some great places nearby though like Chef D's Creole Diner (best meal we had on the island) and Suggestion Gormet French Restaurant. We rented paddle boards and kayaks and sat out on the pier to soak in the sun - all included in the reservation. The house was great: kitchen, several rooms, each had air conditioning, we loved the pool, the staff were super helpful. Overall a great place on Caye Caulker!

Caye Caulker bliss

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barbaras Beach House. This was our first visit to Belize. Caye Caulker did not disappoint. Valento Rentals were gracious and helpful at check-in. Nitheria is a sweetie pie! The house had everything we needed and the pool and large pier with seating was used everyday for happy hours and morning reflections. There are ample excursion options available right on the property. So nice to have the little Weezies restaurant/bar right close by. We biked everywhre. Highly recommend Chef Ds by airport for the best Belizian food on the island!

What a great property, they have people who clean the pool and patio every morning and everyone always had a smile for you. If we get back to Caye Caulker we are staying here again!

Fun stay

The only downside to this property is there is not really a beach to hang out at. Most places don’t have a “beach.” Golf cart or bicycle is a must. Pretty long walk to the split and downtown.

Lovely views and location.

The location of the house was stunning and even better than the pictures could capture. The area itself was nice and quiet, but you could still bike (I would advise renting one for your stay) everywhere quickly on the island. It was wonderful to have ocean and pool access. The porch was lovely to sit on in the morning for coffee. The interior was clean and well stocked. The air conditioning worked very well, and the water pressure was much better than expected. I hope to be able to visit again.

Beautiful Barbara's Beach House

Our family of four adults stayed at Barbara's Beach House for three nights while visiting Caye Caulker. The place did not disappoint. The photos undertstate how nice this house is. It is beautiful, well appointed and equipped, well kept, and very comfortable. We really appreciated the pool right outside the door too!

Home away from home

This is a well-maintained property with friendly staff. We were two adult couples and one teen. I was worried it might be noisy due to the density of accommodations, but it was surprisingly quiet. The café next to us was handy-we enjoyed adult beverages and nachos on arrival. The pier offered a great lace to lay and read or just watch the ocean. No real beach access here, but you can get into the ocean at the end of the pier.

A Perfect Paradise Stay

The property, pool, house, dock, and everything were so nice. Excellent location right on the water. Very peaceful despite having other units around. We used the dock and the porch hammocks and pool a ton! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and responsive. We had an issue with the door handle sticking and they responded and fixed it right away. Would absolutely book this place again!!

Caye caulker perfection

This is our 3rd time staying with Velento at this location. All of their accommodations are top notch with everything you need supplied or available. Location is perfect with bike rental. Customer service is always available and everyone is always kind and willing to help! We will definitely return a 4th time. ❤️

Perfect little paradise in Caye Caulker

Beautiful cared for three bedroom bungalow. Close to restaurants, town, and market. Just steps away from beachfront, pool, hammock, kayaks, and dock. Caretakers so friendly and will take care of any requests. Love it!

Perfect location

We had a great time at Barbara’s Beach house. Watching the sunset on the Pier in the morning was awesome. We enjoyed the pool daily. Our only complaint was how warm the upstairs bathroom was, not sure if a fan would help out not. Would sweat as soon as you got out of the shower. Love the location.

Beautiful and peaceful

This was a beautiful location with a nice dock with chairs to relax on. It was away from the busy part of the island. If you fly in, you can walk to it easily. We took the water taxi and then there are golf cart taxis ready to take you to the location. We really appreciated the kayak and paddle boards available and the attentive staff was very helpful.

Absolutely Incredible!

Beautiful accommodations the perfect distance from the hustle and bustle on Front St. Caye Caulker. Spotless home, extraordinary staff and property manager, ocean views and a pool. We couldn't ask for more. The only thing we need to ask is when can we go back!
