"The cottage had everything we needed. Situated in an ideal position near the quay, with shops, pubs and restaurants in easy walking distance. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of the country. The owner was very helpful. Gardener's Cottage was perfect for the two of us and we would definitely return."

"Apartment, as described, in a stunning location. Spotlessly clean and easy check in . Nice selection of restaurants and bars on site with friendly and professional staff. Only issue was that extensive building work was taking place outside the apartment and noise started around 7.30 in the morning. It didn't spoil our stay but may need to be considered if you like a lie in."

"The area, the room, the owner, the atmosphere- everything was just perfect! We slept super well and enjoyed a good breakfast while chatting with other visitors and the owner. There are great restaurants nearby and if you arrive or leave by ferry, the guest house is just 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. We warmly recommend staying here! "

"Amazing view, fantastic location, beutiful period property, easily accessible, Tesco express is nearby, as well as many restaurants. The apartment is spacious and clean with well equiped kitchen and comfortable beds. We even had milk in the fridge on arrival! And Alexa for kids. On the downside, really minor points, the windows outside were not clean and unattractive bleach stain on armchair. "

"This property is beautiful and located perfectly to watch the port and locals. The promenade is prefect for roller skating, skate boarding or bike riding and the view is just gorgeous. The property itself was surprisingly large with the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen in the basement which really helped cope with the warm weather, not to mention the history behind it. Would recommend this property to everyone."
