Charming & spacious two-story townhome with balcony - close to Okemo

  • This beautiful Cavendish townhome features updated furnishings and is located close to everything Okemo and Ludlow have to offer. This rental showcases a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Guests are sure to enjoy the large living area on the main floor that offers plenty of seating for everyone to gather around the gas fireplace after a long day on the mountain. The home also has an upper-level bonus room with a pool table and games for the kids.

    The home is only five miles from Okemo Mountain Resort, for great skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and the Jackson Gore Adventure Center. The town of Weston, home of the famous Vermont Country Store where you can discover pure Vermont maple syrup, is only 14 miles away. Miles of trails are also waiting to be explored at Camp Plymouth State Park, just 10 miles north of the home.

    Things to Know
    An optional resort fee of $45/day per person on Friday and Saturday, $25/day per person for Sunday - Thursday, or $250 for a 10-day punch card (1 punch daily per person) is required to access Castle Hill amenities, including a heated outdoor pool (open during the winter), a hot tub, sauna, and tennis courts. Access to the fitness center and the full-service spa is available for an added fee.

Spacious and Clean

Great place to stay. Very spacious and very clean. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Beautifully decorated and stocked with games and puzzles and playroom.

Great place to stay!

Property was clean and very large! Toilet bowls weren't flushing but maintenace came to fix. Would definitely stay here again. Easy drive to town and to Okemo to ski!

Beautiful Place

We loved this place. It has two master suites which worked out great for having 2 couples. And the bunk room was great for the teenagers. 4 bathrooms!!! It was well stocked, very clean, very roomy, etc. I highly recommend this place and hope to be back again.

Nice Condo

Spacious and comfortable condo with everything needed. Convenient to town and slopes. Just needed winter to show up and drop some snow.

Great Vermont Stay

Lovely development, well-kept property, plenty of room for multiple couples, well-stocked kitchen and baths. Had a little issue with front lock description to enter, but called and talked to very pleasant person by telephone.

Great stay

Great condo for two families with kids ages 6-11. The size/layout was great. Perfect location for skiing at Okemo. A few things could be fixed to make this a 5 star condo and that would be: the coffee table (totally falling apart), wobbly kitchen chairs and the couches have seen better days. Otherwise, really great stay. Thanks!

Overall: nice place to stay

For the three of us who stayed at the condo, it was very roomy and we each had our own bathroom which was great! It would be nice to have a 3rd double or queen bed though. My daughter-in-law ended up on the bottom full bunk bed upstairs in the 'bunk room'. The upstairs would be ideal for a group of children to stay, since it's all bunk beds. The condo's overall appearance is pretty nice, but the sofa and sofa-beds are showing their age. The washer and dryer are on the small size to handle the laundry for a group of any size. We managed with just the 3 adults.

Lot of potential but needs maintenance

The place is very nice and ideal for two families. It's only 10 minutes from Okemo. That's the good. The bad is the place needs some TLC. Both living room couches are broken along with the coffee table. The toilets run non stop and one overflowed own of nowhere when it wasn't being used. The dishwasher ran for 9 hours and the dishes were still dirty. With a little bit of maintenance and some new furniture this place could be top notch. As it is now it's only so so.

Condo nice, communication poor

Except for the couch needing reupholstering the condo had all we we needed. Beds were comfortable and unit was quite spacious and clean. Downside was rental agency which I felt had poor communication. I e-mailed and called multiple times but did not get a timely answer regarding early check in. If it wasn't for that I would have given 4 stars. I will not rent through Vacasa again if there other options available.

Great ski house

This was a great house for our group of six. Plenty of space, very clean, sheets and towels were nice quality, beds were comfortable. The kitchen was really nice and the living area spacious and bright, just as the pictures show. The house is in a nice development and only 10 minutes from the mountain. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the furniture was broken (coffee table) and the couch had some holes in the fabric, but we were notified this were planned to be fixed or replaced. I would recommend this home!

Christmas Weekend

We had a lovely time despite Mother Nature not cooperating on ski conditions, it's been a tough year thus far. The condo had all the room we needed and location was within close proximity to everything on our check list. If you're expecting luxury accommodations then this is not the rental for you, as furniture is what one might expect from a rental. Well used with issues like holes in cloth couches, broken bottom to coffee table, very loose chairs on dining room table, etc. Kitchen was well stocked, but again rental condition items like few coffee mugs, glasses or cooking sheets and non-stick pans that are almost no longer usable. Our plan was eating out and ordering take-out, so wasn't a real big issue as we were only doing breakfast cooking. It's pretty much what one would expect for a rental, if you want perfect then probably best to stay in a hotel.

Excellent with some buts!

The facility is as advertised. It easily held the 11 of us. This included 5 children with the oldest 9. It is a lovely condo in a beautiful area of Vermont. We found plenty of things to do with the kids and adults. The reluctance for five stars is that the pool is an extra large charge The pictures are misleading about the pool. The dishwasher ran for ever. We called maintenance and they promptly responded but never fixed the dishwasher. There were a few other minor problems. Overall we would go back.

Perfect Fall Getaway!

As a young family of four we enjoyed our stay immensely! We loved the layout and size of condo and everything appeared as it did online, just beautiful! The beds were very comfortable and linens and bedding were pristine and of great quality. The area was quiet and serene and just two hours from out home in CT. We would definitely stay again and encourage others to as well!

We would definitely stay here again. It was clean, bright, and well equipped. And access to resort amenities was an added bonus. Everything we needed for a family ski trip at Okemo!

February Trip

The home is huge! Tons of space! The silverware and kitchen utensils are top quality, not the normal rental stuff. The furniture is comfortable and clean. Parking was super easy and the dumpster is close so it wasn’t a chore to take the trash out at the end. We will be back! Loved it.
