"This was a lovely villa in a beautiful area. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool- (possibly older teenagers (which we didnt have) may have found it big enough between them?). However, it was perfect for the ages of our children - [four of them aged between 5 and 13]. The location was great for a wine tasting tour of a local vinyard (Carsin Vinyard - really informative and friendly), day trips to St Emillion and back to Bordeaux twice. Great supermarket nearby...

"Pros: La casa está perfectamente equipada, todo es nuevo y limpio. Buena terraza orientada al norte lo que le da un extra de comodidad en los días soleados y calurosos del verano. El anfitrión súper súper amable, y dispuesto a ayudar en lo que necesites. 100% recomemdable, eso sí con vehículo propio para desplazarte. Cons: Nada."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour (nouvel an, 2 nuits) entre amis dans cette grande maison, parfaitement adaptée à un groupe. La taille du lieu est un vrai atout : chacun dispose d’espace, tout en profitant de grands volumes conviviaux, notamment un espace festif qui a ravi tout le monde. Malgré la superficie importante, la maison était très bien chauffée, ce qui a rendu le séjour particulièrement confortable, même par temps frais. Le logement est agréable à vivre et fonctionnel. "De entrada, pensamos que nos habían timado: el GPS nos llevó a una carretera comarcal a las afueras del pueblo, llamábamos al dueño y nos salía la contestadora, mandábamos Whatsapp y no respondía… Pasada una media hora decidimos caminar el pueblo a ver si, por la foto, encontrábamos la casa. Había una mujer en una calle, como esperando y le preguntamos. Era la esposa del dueño. Ahí todo se arregló. Nos explicó que él estaba trabajando y no podía atender el teléfono. "Le gite est très bien agencé, bien équipé, pratique pour une famille avec enfant en bas âge (jeux à disposition qui est un plus). L'électroménager est de bonne qualité. L'hôte est accueillante et disponible si besoin. Je recommande ce gite."

Too cold for us to use pool. Must be great in summer. Immaculately clean. New linens. All very beautifully coordinated. Quiet village. Great shops in Brenne 15 minutes away. One of our party rented a bicycle and did rides in the vicinity We spent time in st emilion for lunches etc. Excellent in every way. "

"The hosts were so very amicable. We enjoyed spending time with them as well as their 2 furry babies. The meals that they prepared for us were excellent and beyond what we had expected and hoped for. We understand that the host family has other gites nearby. We hope to experience those places soon with them. We will certainly stay with the hosts again. Hopefully sometime very soon. "
