Porta Maestra is a beautiful apartment-style accommodation that was perfect for our guys' trip. We were three 30-year-old men and stayed in Apartment 3, located on the top floor. The layout worked great for us: two spacious bedrooms with large beds and a pullout sofa in the living room, plus two full bathrooms—plenty of space and privacy for a group.

"We had an amazing long weekend stay at this lovely penthouse apartment. The flat is very spacious and has stunning views of the Pakleni islands - perfect for some sunset drinks on the balcony. My partner was feeling unwell on the day of check-in, and they accommodated an early check-in with no problem. "Beautiful home on the hill with an infinity pool overlooking a private bay. This is a little piece of paradise outside the noise and the hustle and bustle of Hvar town, but only a 10 min drive away. The owner, Tony, is very friendly and accommodating and will drive you to town for 13 euros each way. It is about a 45 minute walk. Very secluded and peaceful! Perfect for a romantic get away or for families, but come prepared as there is nothing near by but 2 quite pricey restaurants.

"We loved the hotel. The room was very spacious and the location couldn’t be better. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was the best of our one month trip through Europe. Our waiter Vlad made us feel very welcomed and appreciated every evening. The only thing that needs some improvement is the gym. It lacks equipment for an hotel this good. The pool is excellent. Be sure to book a room with a view of the sea and the town.
