"When we arrived at the hotel it didn't look anything special from the outside. On entering into the small reception we received a very warm welcome and given some local information. We were directed to our room which was very spacious, clean and a nice outlook . The bed was very comfortable although I found the room warm but my husband slept right through the night, which is unusual for him. "Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. "Inn was closed so no food or drink. No notification prior. Looked like I’d be only person the premises. Expedia took payment prior despite instructions saying property would take payment. The inn still expected payment.Ended up being sent to another hotel which was much nicer."

"Stayed for one night as was travelling to Oban from East Yorkshire so it was about half way. Bed was comfortable and good pressure on the shower. Had evening meal and breakfast. Both were good. Too much food for me but enjoyed what I had."
