Exactly as described, except better! The views are truly magnificent, the home is one-of-a-kind and perfectly suited to the site, and Gaia is a warm, welcoming, communicating host. Our best VRBO stay so far, and we've had some great ones. Be sure to get in touch with Luigi the baker for fresh bread, and the Vagliagli Tavern is a favorite and just a short drive away.

We arrived at the villa in Tuscany and were greeted by our wonderful host Gaia and given an extensive tour. Prior to arrival Gaia asked if we would like her to buy groceries or arrange dinner reservations. Further there was a welcoming bottle of wine, fruit and delicious homemade cottage cheese.The property had 4 private sleeping quadrants, all with ensuite baths. Kitchen - modern appliances, good china / cutlery, many small appliances good spices.The dining room was very comfortable for our group of 8. The living room was nicely laid out and complimented by a fireplace and piano. The heating and wi-fi both had back-up systems The beds were all minimum queen and very comfortable with good pillows.The house had very good windows / doors for exits and ventilation. All rooms had great views. There was also laundry facility and ironing board / iron.The exterior was a paradise with approximately 12 acres, with fantastic landscape surrounding the house with many activities available. Many outdoor terraces both open and shaded gave many areas to enjoy the landscape. At night, the pool and landscape were attractively lighted up. The parking was very generous.Most of all Gaia was always available for questions and suggestions. Her warmth, generosity and passion made the stay a truly wonderful experience. We will definitely be back and recommend this property for any one looking for a wonderful place to stay in Tuscany with old world charm.

For those who enjoy a more rustic/authentic Tuscany experience, which we were looking for, the home is wonderful. The location was great for those looking for a central destination to travel through Northen Tuscany. 1 hour from Florence and 20 mins from grocery stores in Siena. The views we amazing – day or night. Gaia was great and very communicative from our checkin to our stay to our checkout. Highly recommend.

Secluded villa with amazing pool and views

An excellent stay. Perfect for what we wanted. Pool and facilities were exactly what we needed. A car is vital and whilst Tuscany is all around and very accessible the immediate area is tranquil and secluded. The WiFi was having issues for our stay. Whilst it was perfectly usable for all (including kids on devices during downtime!) the owner acknowledged it needed improving. Great facilities for the children. Table tennis, table football, football pitch all got used with great pleasure. The pool was stunning with views to die for. Our first experience with a saline pool. All the kids found it far better than the chlorine equivalent. Gaia our host was beyond helpful. They were regularly around to tend to their olive grove next door and assisted in all manner of ways. Thoroughly recommended Villa.

Gorgeous villa with a magnificent view

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. The owner was so communicative and helpful beforehand as well as during the stay, making excellent recommendations for our various day trips. The grounds are spectacular and the pool and view are beyond compare. So many places to sit and relax. The quietest place I’ve ever stayed in!

Holiday to Remember

The property was magical. Every morning coffee overlooking the rolling hills, sitting at the patios or by the pool. The house was full of paintings made by one of the hosts. These added to the beauty!!Gaia was wonderful . So helpful and kind. She went the extra miles. Her husband, a capable chef, cooked an incredible Italian dinner at the Villa. We recommend using him for an Italian dinner.I would recommend this Villa with the highest recommendation.

Gorgeous villa with a stunning view. It was better than the pictures. Pool area is awesome. The road to the villa is a little bumpy but worth the drive. Gaia was a great host. Have Maurizio cook a private dinner for you. It was a highlight of our stay.

Truly Exceptional Property and Fantastic Host

It is hard to find words to capture the beauty and charm of Villa i Quercioli. The owners Gaia and Maurizio make you feel like family and provide everything you need for a great vacation. We travelled with a group of 4 couples and everyone was blown away by our experience. The villa is located atop a Tuscan hill with endless fantastic views. The grounds are beautiful and there are numerous gathering places for sitting, eating, sipping wine and enjoying the scenery. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Kitchen is well stocked and perfect for cooking. We made several home cooked meals with local ingredients that were a highlight of the trip. There is an authentic wood fired grill in the back where we grilled Florentine steaks and chickens we bought from a small butcher shop. Also, the location is perfect for making day trips to places to visit. We had rental cars and driving was easy compared to the Amalfi Coast. The Bendi Sergardi winery that has been run by the same family for over a 1000 yrs is easy walking distance from the villa and we enjoyed the tasting and tour. Maurizio is a chef and we hired him to cook dinner one night that was unbelievable. Probably the best part was Gaia, the owner. She is passionate about the Villa. She made everything convenient and easy and I feel like I have a new friend. If you are looking for an authentic Tuscan experience this is the place for you. I give Gaia, Maurizio and Villa I Quercioli my highest recommendation.

Our fabulous family vacation in Tuscany

This house and grounds surpassed our expectations. The pool was such an added bonus for all. The views from this property were exceptional!! We watched the sunset every evening with such delight. We were all comfortable everywhere in the house. We just provided some food and beverages We had everything we needed. Gaia and her husband Mauricio were the most welcoming hosts. A Dream Come True

A good friend was looking to celebrate her 60th birthday. When asked where her dream destination would be, she immediately said Tuscany. Our party of eight wanted a pool and rooms and bathrooms for each couple. This was a tall order. I was so excited to find this beautiful villa that had not only our must-haves, but so much more. The views are absolutely stunning, the outside eating areas are comfortable and situated throughout the property. Lastly, Gaia, our contact for the property was attentive, patient and incredibly kind. I cannot count the number of times someone remarked at how perfect the villa was. The next time anyone in our group is looking to visit this beautiful area, we will be looking into renting this property again.

Excellent hosts, amazing views and access to restaurants and many Tuscany towns.

Our group of 6 adults stayed at this beautiful property May 2024. If you're comfortable being in a Tuscany location that isn't walkable to restaurants or other services, stay here! You will need a car to visit some of the amazing towns in the vicinity. The host and her daughter provided excellent communication before, during and after our stay. We paid for the pool heating and spent one full day enjoying the house and surrounding area. We made use of Pietro and his team for a dine-in chef experience...delicious food and wine, great to be taken care of. We also hired Roberto Bechi (Tours by Roberto) for a customized full day wine tour and highly recommend that you make use of his services. Excellent knowledge of wine and the area along with a lively personality.

Tuscany at its Best

We stayed here for a week with three other couples. Each of us enjoyed our own bedroom with designated bathroom. This villa is priceless. The owner has maintained the friendly and comfortable vibe of a home. There are books, art, gorgeous memorabilia around the home plus the inviting pool and Tuscan panoramas. Although it is in a rural setting, it is easy to reach Siena and medieval hill towns close by. Gaia and her husband are excellent hosts and we could not have asked for more. We want to thank the owners for allowing us to share their gorgeous home. It is a fantastic place to stay.
