Rocca di Castellina is a small and peaceful hamlet set on a family-run agriturismo in the heart of the Chianti Classico, where wine and olive oil are produced on site. The property consists of two holiday apartments located next to the farmhouse of the friendly owner family, as well as a detached villa a short distance uphill, converted from a former barn. Each accommodation has its own furnished outdoor space and features classic Tuscan interiors with wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Rocca di Castellina is an ideal place for a relaxing stay in the Chianti countryside. Guests can enjoy a beautiful shared  pool, perfect for cooling off on warm summer days while taking in the far-reaching views over the landscape.



The location is excellent for exploring the region. Castellina in Chianti can be reached in just ten minutes by car or in around twenty minutes on foot and offers good restaurants, shops and supermarkets, as well as one of the best ice cream parlours in the area, the Gelateria di Castellina. Siena, San Gimignano, Florence and Arezzo are all easily accessible for enjoyable day trips.

About the villa

Il Nocino is a single story semi-detached villa with a large stone-paved terrace and a dining area beneath a pergola, perfect for enjoying alfresco meals while taking in the beautiful views over the vineyards and nearby Castellina. Inside, traditional Tuscan wooden beamed ceilings blend with comfortable furnishings, offering everything needed for a relaxing holiday.
