"The apartment has an excellent location quite near the historic center of Matera and within walking distance of the Sassi. But the highlight for us was wonderful Pietro, the owner. Not only had he stocked the refrigerator and cupboard with goodies, but he also arranged an emergency dental appointment for my husband, drove us there, and acted as our interpreter. During our stay and afterwards, he checked up on us to see how my husband was doing, and he told us not to worry about anything...

"The property was beautiful; filled with charm and comfort. The yard was an added plus. It was lovely to sit out in the morning and late afternoon. Very peaceful place. Centrally located, easy to walk everywhere and for all main attractions. Luigi, the host, was a prince… so kind, warm, and helpful. He even contacted me after checkout to make sure everything went ok with the transport he helped me find. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Rosanna is more than generous with what she supplies in her her beautifully decorated home. She was quick to respond to any of our questions and made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed the location. Day trips to nearby towns such as Polignano a Mare and Monopoli were easy with the local bus routes. The bus stops can be a bit difficult to locate, would definitely recommend using the maps provided by Rosanna. Castellana Grotte itself is a beautiful town, we found everyone to be so friendly...

"Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. If we ever get back to the enchanting city of Matera would definitely stay here again."

"Very comfortable and nicely updated. On the small size but good enough size for 2 people. Parking available so that was a nice for being in the old town. Kitchen could be better equipped if you plan on cooking. Montescagliosa is a charming mountain town and a nice change from nearby towns with more tourists than locals walking the cobbled streets."

"Una maravilla la atención de Laura ! En mi primera oportunidad no pude encontrar el hotel, porque le falta carteleria para verlo desde afuera. Está ubicado en un complejo comercial en el primer piso y para poder acceder hay que tener un código. Esta vez me enviaron un mensaje (Laura) y estuvo pendiente aconsejándonos en todo lo que necesitáramos para hacer el Check on varias horas antes. Se los aconsejo, esta fue mi segunda vez en este hotel. Está a 100 metros de la Estación Matera Céntrale y a 100 de los Sassi. Inmejorable ubicación. Gracias nuevamente a Laura !"
