Idyllic location

A wonderfully peaceful location. The estate is surrounded by stunning grounds and gracefully kept gardens. Peacocks, cats and 2 dogs live here in harmony and were gentle companions. The pool is wonderful and we managed to blend reading, swimming and relaxation with visits to local villages and Orvieto. Our host was helpful and friendly.

schöne Unterkunft in herrlicher Umgebung

Das gesamte Anwesen mit seiner parkähnlichen Anlage und umherlaufenden Pfauen ist ein Traum. Wir waren zu zweit in der Villa Cypress untergebracht und haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Sauberkeit und Austattung waren tadellos. Besonders die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. Von der Salatschleuder bis zur Kaffeemaschine (es gibt 3 davon : Espressokocher italiensch, Filterkaffeemaschine und Nespresso Kapselmaschine) alles vorhanden! Auch sonst gibt es alles was den Aufenhalt angenehm macht. Die deutschen Fersehkanäle und das meist funkionierende Internet haben uns in dieser leidigen Corona Zeit auf dem laufenden gehalten . Das Anwesen liegt fernab von lauten Strassen und mitten im Grünen - Entspannung pur! Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt bezieht sich auf das manuelle Öffnen und Schliessen des Tores ,was bei Regen leider lästig war. Ein Rolltor mit Fernbedienung wäre die bessere Variante.

Heerlijke plek, alles supergoed verzorgd, aardige gastheer. Kinderen vonden de 2 honden ook superleuk. Wij genoten van de keuken, een waar je echt Italiaans in kan koken!

Un été en ombrie

Nous avons séjourné 14 jours dans une des maisons de la propriété ( 2 adultes et 2 enfants) : la maison est très belle avec une belle terrasse, un grand jardin et une belle piscine. Au calme et loin des tumultes de la ville . C’est reposant L’intérieur de la maison est bien: fonctionnel La propriété est située un peu loin des différentes centres d’interêt d ombrie tels que Assisse, Perouse... La première jolie petite ville est Orvieto à 20 min en voiture ( route sinueuse) . Le propriétaire vit sur les lieux. Nous avons loué une maison avec trois chambres et avons été reçu dans une maison à 2 chambres: difficulté résolue en fin de séjour.

wunderschöne, erholsame Ferien in besonderer Atmosphäre

Wir haben mit zwei Kindern 9 Tage in der Villa Cypress verbracht und jede Minute genossen. Ein ganz friedlicher, harmonischer Ort mit sehr nettem Gastgeber. Das Innere der Wohnung ist so schön, geräumig und geschmackvoll wie beschrieben; wir haben aber die meiste Zeit draussen verbracht, auf der Terrasse, beim Aufsammeln der Pfauenfedern oder am traumhaften Pool, der wegen seiner Form besonders zum Schwimmen einlädt. Selten hatten wir im Urlaub so geringe Lust, Ausflüge zu unternehmen wie hier- obwohl die Umgebung traumhaft und die Lage für viele Ziele in Umbrien und im südlichen Teil der Toskana sehr gut ist.

It dosn’t get any better

We had the most wonderful week. The location and the house we rented was breathtaking. It’ s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. If you want to have a vacation in the countryside and you want to stay in a fantastic and old castle/monastery you have to choose this place. It is perfect reconditioned. The host gave us the most warm wellcome and we really felt at home from the first day. What a week.

Erholung pur in Umbrien

Wir, zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind, waren im August 2018 zu Gast in Santa Maria della Conzesione. Wo sollen wir beim Schwärmen anfangen? Zu erwähnen sind definitiv folgende Punkte: - Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang durch die beiden Gastgeber, sowie sehr gute Betreuung während des Aufenthalts mit sehr guten Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants - Ein 3ha großes Areal einer ehemaligen Klosteranlage, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr harmonisch um Wege, Terrassen, Gärten und einem tollen Swimmingpool ergänzt wurde - Trotz mehrerer Wohneinheiten wird auf die Privatsphäre jedes Einzelnen großen Wert gelegt und ist diese auch garantiert - Besonders haben wir uns über die täglichen Besuche der Pfauen gefreut, und die beiden lieben Hunde Brera und Kimba waren nicht nur für unsere Tochter ein Grund für Abschiedstränen - Obwohl wir sonst gerne Sightseeing betreiben, und unglaublich viele Möglichkeiten dazu bestehen, stand in diesem Jahr die Erholung für uns im Vordergrund und wir kamen voll auf unsere Kosten - Santa Maria und Umbrien sind jederzeit eine Reise wert und wir planen jetzt schon unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort.

Immer wieder toll und erholsam!

Relaxed and beautiful old monastery off the beaten track.

This place is a dream! Ranier was so professional and accommodating, with directions, arrival and everything we needed during our stay. We rented the Cyprus Villa for a week in August and we were so comfortable even though there was no a/c. There are 5 villas on the property which were all part of an old monastery so it was built for relaxation and privacy- no one ever crossed our paths except at the pool which is the best ever. Lots of space to lay out and enjoy the calm rustic Umbrian summer. Beautiful old pieces of art and sculptures, peacocks hanging about, we even picked vegetables from their garden for dinner. It is a large property with steps down to the pool and an outside cooking area we used nightly. So wonderful, the only thing I would change is the bedding: I would ask for sheets (there were only comforters on bed) and mattress a bit old.
