Exellent Villa

I couldn’t recommend this villa highly enough. We had a fantastic holiday. Niccolo our host was brilliant, he was there to meet and greet us and responded to any questions we had very quickly. All in all this was the best holiday let we have ever stayed in. A big thank you to Niccolo and his family

Eine perfekte Villa mitten im Grünen für einen wunderbaren Familienurlaub. Es fehlte an nichts! 4 Paare, 1 Baby, 1 Kleinkind; alle waren begeistert. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sehr gute Restaurants mit hervorragender Küche und gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in der Nähe (natürlich mit dem Auto).

Excellent stay

Villa Montanina exceeded all our expectations. We had 4 families staying for a week and accommodations worked out great. The Cherici family were wonderful hosts and are justifiably proud of what they have achieved with their villa dating back to 1409. We were there during the July-August heat wave and between aircon, the excellent pool and thick walls were always comfortable. There are several kitchens and eating areas which worked out well with our large group.

einfach perfekt

Wunderschöne Anlage mit tollen Gastgebern. Wir waren eine gruppe mit 4 familien und Kindern, riesiger pool mit schöner Aussicht. tolle ausstattung, alles was man zum kochen grillen etc braucht. niccolo und seine mutter sind super Gastgeber, immer erreichbar und haben sehr gute restaurant und Ausflugs empfehlungen. Die villa ist abgelegen und äußerst privat. gerne wieder

This property is breathtaking! Niccolo was an excellent host. He has a thought of everything, I mean everything, to make your vacation excellent. The Villa was so clean and spacious. We had 13 people there. There were places to gather or to have some private time. It is the perfect place to be whether you want to relax by the pool or take a drive to a village and explore. We decided to have the dinner one night. It was delicious and beautiful served. Niccolo, his mother and his wife went out of their way to make our trip, a trip of a lifetime.

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub 9 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen genießen dürfen und waren rundum begeistert.Das Haus ist ein historisches Gebäude mit dem Charme der Toskana. Es war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet.Highlights sind der sehr große Pool und die tolle Lage und der fantastische Ausblick. Die Schattenplätze (Pavillon unten am Pool) sowie oben am Haus haben uns ebenfalls besonders gefallen. Dort haben wir viel Zeit verbracht, gespielt, relaxt usw.Der Vermieter Niccolò und seine Mutter waren sehr zuvorkommend. Haben uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants, Wine-Tastings und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gegeben. Der Kontakt war sehr gut. Sie haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, dass es ihnen sehr wichtig ist, dass wir einen perfekten Aufenthalt haben.Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen und kommen gern wieder.We were happy to enjoy our family vacation of 9 adults and 4 children in this beautiful property and were completely The house is a historic building with the charm of Tuscany. It was very clean and well furnished.Highlights are the very large pool and the great location with fantastic view. We also liked the shady spots (pavilion at the bottom of the pool) and one near to the house. We spent a lot of time there, playing, relaxing etc.The landlord Niccolò and his mother are very friendly als nice. They gave us great ideas for excursions, restaurants, wine tastings and shopping. The contact was very good, quick and helpful.

Herbst in der Toskana

Wir waren mit Familie und Freunden mit insgesamt 10 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern zwei Wochen in der Villa Montanina und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Da wir zwei Wochen schönes Wetter hatten, konnten wir auch im Oktober die Tage draußen verbringen. Wir haben sogar den Pool noch nutzen können, weil wir darum gebeten hatten. Das hat besonders die Kinder gefreut, auch wenn das Wasser ziemlich kalt war. Alle haben sich am Tischkicker und Tischtennisplatte gefreut. Die Abende konnten wir gemeinsam in der großen Küche verbringen, die dann allerdings gut gefüllt war. Das Anwesen liegt nicht im bekannteren Teil der Toskana, so dass die Gegend weniger touristisch ist. Uns hat es gefallen und im Casentino sind auch viele Ausflüge möglich. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Fantastic

We were so surprised by how much space the is at the villa, it was fantastic the pictures do not do it justice., it is very old and rustic building put to its best by the owners, games room gym, lovely pool, great supermarkets near by (puts ours to shame) you can walk into the nearest town for a drink and a market on a Wednesday morning (good hike back though) If you decide to get train to Arezzo make sue it stops at the local train station (just a square of ground) as the train went by my kids so dad had to drive them to the next one, but it stopped at the original one on the way back. The owners could not have been more helpful when needed. Recommend this is our fouth villa in Tuscany and the best yet.

Nice place

Had 14 lovely days at this old house. Lots of space and a real wonderfull pool (our grandkids stayed many ours at that place). We were promised from Nicolo, that the pool were supposted to be cleaned sunday night, wednesday morning and again sunday morning and so on. But I guess the poolman forgot it twice in our 14 days. Nice parents you have and also helpfull. Due to the heat, we didn't get around in the area as planned. Have a nice late summer

Toskana at its best

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche bei Niccolo. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch auf einem Hang in einer ruhigen Umgebung und umfasst ein weitläufigens Anwesen mit toller Weitsicht. Der große Pool ist unterhalb des Hauses gelegen, gut gepflegt und mit Sonne von früh bis spät. Die Häuser waren top ausgestattet (Handtücher, Badetücher, Kaffee, Öl, Spülmaschine etc.). Uns hat besonders gut der kleine Pavillion mit schattiger Lounge im Hof gefallen. Auch ein Grill steht zur Verfügung. Die Kommunikation mit Niccolo war während des gesamten Aufenthaltes super unkompliziert und sehr angenehm; zudem hat er uns mit Insidertips für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung versorgt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Absolutely perfect.

Montanina has been a perfect choice. It ist wonderful. Niccolo ist super friendly an his mother is very nice and helpful. We would love to come back to Montanina.

Could not have been better!

Our stay at Castel Focognano was absolutely magnificent! Even more beautiful in person. The house is great for a big group as it is very spacious. We did not feel on top of each other at all. Niccolò and his Mother were so lovely and helpful with everything we needed. Really great people and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely magnificent!!!!

The owner is an incredibly lovely lady! She greeted us with a home made Italian cake and also made us homemade pizza! The property is incredible!! We did not want to leave the property!! It was so beautiful!! Great place for families or large groups! Would recommend this property to anyone!! We felt so lucky to have found this property!!

Eine wunderschöne toskanische Villa mit einem Traumblick in das Casentino-Tal

Wir, eine Gruppe von 10 Personen (mit 2 Kindern) haben eine Woche in dieser, mit so viel Liebe eingerichteten, Villa verbracht. Die Bilder spiegeln die Wirklichkeit wieder. Jeder Raum ist individuell eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben die zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten genossen: morgens haben wir am großen Esszimmertisch im 1.Stock des Wohnhauses gefrühstückt, mittags unter der Pergola am Pool Obst und abends auf der großen Veranda zu Abend gegessen. Nicht nur die Kinder sondern auch wir Erwachsene haben die vorhandenen "Sportmöglichkeiten", wie Tischtennis, Fussballkicker und vor allen Dingen das große Pool ausgiebig genossen. Wir hatten eine rundum tolle Zeit in der Villa und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Tagesausflüge nach Bibbiena, Arezzo und Florenz haben unseren Urlaub abgerundet. Vielen Dank an unsere sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber Niccolo, Christina und Marco. Wir können die Villa Montanina nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles.
