"The stay was great if you don’t mind cameras watching you. Propane tank was empty, couldn’t sit on balcony because straw would go up my ass from the crappy chairs. Stove top was dirty with mysterious fluid. It was what it was. Plenty to do in area. Plenty of undersize crab available- we threw them back."

"It is pretty basic, but equiped with all necessities and nicely put together. A cozy cabin with a lot of history. No street noise, no neighbor noise! Just woods, fields and creeks and all their critters. Good place to write, read and rest. No screens. Best for a small family, close friends or a couple. Not much privacy amongst the guests, but very private from the rest of the world! My husband and I loved it and hope to return!"

"The property was as described in the listing. It was peaceful, relaxing and secluded. We traveled with our three teenage kids and dogs. The kids absolutely loved the pool and our dogs were immediately relaxed. We were able to catch blue crabs off of the dock, no luck in fishing but that was probably more us then the area. Would absolutely return to the rental. It was an amazing break from a hectic life. Thank you for sharing your place with us."

"My cousin and I stayed in the cottage for a girls' weekend. We adore it! We wish we could live here forever! It is clean and comfortable and better than the photos represent. We especially love the layout and charming decor. It is very close to the quaint little town. We enjoyed lunch on the deck at Mallard's. We had lots of fun at The Blarney Stone for karaoke. We highly recommend this cottage!"

"Relaxing on a private beach, kayaks, fishing, bonfires, s'mores, making new friends, the list could go on and on. The host was attentive and energetic. Every request was met with a speedy solution. "The Clifton House is like stepping into your own manor by the bay. The large 5-acre property ensures privacy and peace. Upon our arrival, the home was clean and the furniture in good condition. The house is LARGE with room for everyone in our party of 8 to spread out and relax. For 6 guests in our party, this was their second stay at the Clifton House, and they all said it was as wonderful as they all remembered. All the rooms boast gorgeous views and lots of light from the numerous windows....

"This is the third year we've stayed at this house and we still love it. The gentle bay is perfect for young kids and the house is great. We loved the new table that seats 10. The realtors are not response on VRBO but are very helpful if you call the Blue Heron office. Hoping this house will be available to book in 2023."

"From start to finish, Christie was warm, friendly and welcoming. The hospitality and communication were off the charts. The private beach view is one of the most amazing views we experienced. Very private and a long stretch of beach to walk along. The place was clean and has everything you need from a basics standpoint. The surroundings were awesome. Lots of fields and nature to explore nearby with the golf cart. Highly recommend and will be back."
