"It is magical home in a magical place. It can't be more welcoming. The house is full of light . I live the kitchen and the living room with amazing views towards the sea and the saumon fishers.I have love the time sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying the peace and the warmth atmosphere. I have love playing the piano and cooking in the big kitchen.The bedrooms upstairs are big and very comfortable.Eileen has been very nice to us.She has answered all our questions.Hope to come back again soon."

"Fab house un fab location with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Pictures doesn,t do It justice. Everything was very clean, fully equipped, Inc. shampoo and conditioner, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, etc. John has been a great host, he invited us to Saint John,s party, with his family and friends and It was very nice. "We had a great time staying at this property. It is in the heart of Connemara with easy access to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara NP, Clifden, Galway and Westport. The islands are very close as well. As you should expect Irish weather changes on a dime from rain to sun and back in a moments notice. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful."

"Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The host is very nice and helpful. The house is like a palace and the views from the house are stunning. The house is very well equiped, I can't think of anything missing. They even have a 'kaasschaaf' (Dutch for 'cheese slicer). The house is also a good base for walks and trips to interesting sites in the proximity. We highly recommend it."

"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"Fabulous home and location!! Perfect for a large group including all ages. My wife, baby and I stayed in the attached studio, while my parents, mother in law, sister and nephews where in the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom main house. Incredible views no matter the weather, thanks to the full window walls. Electric window shades when we wanted privacy. Walked to the local beach. Drove three minutes to charming Louisburgh. Took 20 minute trips to Westport, Roonah Pier (ferry to Clare Island), Croagh...

"Great house not far from Clifden. Perfect for our trip in the Connemara region! Mary was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again. There is a drying press upstairs, this thing was great! Told Mary I want one in my house!!!!!Never used the dryer, only the drying press!!! Home was very clean. Plenty of sheep to see right outside of your door and horses too. The lake is beautiful!!!"

"Brilliant house, one of the best that we have stayed in. The views amazing and the house has everything that you need. We had a good chat with the German neighbour who gave us some tips on seeing the seals nearby. We loved all of the beaches in the area and had a couple of good meals in Westport. "
