The rooms are unique (I peaked inside a few) and homey, and there are many lovely common areas such as outdoor seating and a wraparound porch. Loved the balcony that overlooked the courtyard, and you could watch the ferries come and go from port. It was quiet and relaxing. We only grabbed a donut and coffee to go but it looked like there was plenty of options for breakfast. If you wanted to eat at a restaurant then you have to drive a just a few miles into town. That was not a problem and traffic isn't bad. The staff was very accommodating...
"This location was PERFECT for our bike riding group - we made it our home base for a week of riding several islands. Easy 4-5 miles to the ferry. Safe parking for our vehicles and bikes when not in use. Good food and great service at the restaurant. Front desk assistance was spectacular, and they have a fun gift shop. Rooms were comfortable and the flowers were in bloom and everywhere! We'll be back for sure! "
