"Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn."

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay. A quiet village on the edge of the moors with cozy country pub. The pub food was spectacular! I’m not exaggerating… the chefs are top notch. The pub staff were so friendly and helpful too. The room was comfortable with a full king size bed and small well stocked kitchen. If we lived in the UK, we’d visit every year! As Canadians, we’ll have to wait till “next time “."

"The room, service, food were all great. The only complaint was the breakfast. We got there and 9:30am they finish at 10am and there was hardly anything left and they don't put out more yogurt, fruit, cheese etc. Very disappointed in that aspect."

"Great Stay and Dinner at the Wilson Arms - 10 minutes outside Whitby - easy access and great rooms with great bar and food. We had a Double - Room 3 - Ate dinner good selection choice and great beer and Gin Stay was easy and I apologies for setting the Fire Alarm off at 8am on Sunday morning... shower ... Steam. No issues - all good - very nice breakfast service was great. Price £120.00 for a double with Breakfast. Meal for two was £67.00 which included 2 x Rounds of Drinks - great...

"Great location for getting around Whitby. Shame about lack of car parking. Shower drain in our room was prone to blocking. Concerned it might flood the downstairs. We did mention it to staff. Overall a pleasant stay. Might be an idea to mention the stairs leading to upper room as less mobile guests may struggle"
