Best family reunion ever

We had a very wonderful stay at Hidden Treasures. It is huge. We end up having about 25 members of our family come over. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty televisions. There were three patios/porches, and then also a front porch plenty of parking spaces for all vehicles The listing description is accurate. The host is very responsive to all messages.

Excellent place

We had a large group of adults and the house accommodated us well! We loved the dock to jump and slide off, a major factor in choosing the house. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed to cook for up to 35 people, including 2 crockpots (although I brought my own), serving utensils, bowls, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms had all the linens we needed. The only drawback is the hilly, single-lane gravel road to get to the house, but that’s typical for a lake house in this area. We also took advantage of the optional boat rental, it was great to have it waiting for us and suited our needs perfectly! We did bring all the consumable products recommended in the listing; the owner/manager answered all our questions and was helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental!

Family Reunion

We loved the easy access from the lake house to the boat/swimming dock—not too many steps. The bedroom’s were nice and the kitchen was well stocked except for one thing—there were not enough teaspoons for eating. We had a lot of children & always ran out of spoons for eating. Otherwise it was great!

Quiet No Wake Cove

The cove is close to Powell Valley Marina on a no wake cove. Perfect for floating and swimming with no boat traffic. The house accommodated all for a nice family reunion. Having a covered dock was a bonus for mixed weather. The kitchen featured 2 refrigerators and dishwashers and a large island along with 2 tables to accommodate all of us for dinners. The porch with the 2 large grills was perfect ( one is a griddle)My only upgrade to the house would be that the all the mattresses need replaced as mentioned in other reviews. Overall the house worked out great for large family gatherings.

We enjoyed our overall stay! Some improvements could be made.The water in the hot tub never got above room temperature so that wasn’t too great. The mattresses are not great either. There is some erosion on the drive up to the house that made it hard to drive since it rained when we were there. The lake location is great and not many stairs to get to it!!

Amazing Hidden Treasure

Family vacation on Norris Lake, home was beautiful and all needs met. Most fun was the dock with the slide and the pontoon boat with tubing. If your are planning a family vacation on Norris Lake this property is 5 plus.

Nice place for large groups

This house was plenty big for our large group (16 adults and 10 kids). The house is situated on a nice, quiet cove with very little traffic - great for swimming off of a very nice dock with a slide. The host was very responsive when we needed additional propane tanks and to have the hot tube serviced.

This place was great!

This house was great for our large family! There was plenty for the kids to do and everyone loved the two story dock. The kitchen was well supplied and had plenty of everything for our 30 member group.

Family Reunion

Overall, very pleasant. The hot tub brokedown, but owner was responsive and it was fixed within a day or two. Weather was not good :( but nobody's fault except mother nature.

Refreshing and fun for all

From older folks to young children, our family was comfortable and had plenty to do. We hiked, swam, boated, sang, and played games. The kitchen is well furnished, the bathrooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. We even saw a beaver come up to the shore to eat grass shoots.

Christmas Celebration

This was a great place for our family. We had rooms for each family to stay. It was very clean and very well stocked. The internet was extremely slow to non existent at times so if you have to work this is not a great place for that. It's excellent to shut off and spend time with family for sure.

Family Labor Day Weekend

After coming to Norris Lake for several years this houses location and amenities exceeded all our expectations. Whether it was taking shelter in the hot tub during the rain or enjoying the slide and dock when the sun came out it was all exceptional and everyone was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful home. Needless to say, we will return.

Loved the location!

We absolutely loved the location out away from everything. Do be aware that it's up a winding narrow road, but it wasn't hard to navigate. We loved being away from everything and absolutely loved it's location to the water. Unfortunately, our group all came down with a virus while we were there (at no fault of the house, of course) and didn't get to fully appreciate it. Jon was easy to work with and responded quickly to our needs. The wifi was spotty, but we were okay with that. There's a house phone so you can reach Jon and use if there's an emergency. Thanks so much for providing something so perfect for everyone to enjoy!

Great gathering spot

We had a wonderful stay at Hidden Treasure. Nine bedrooms made for plenty of room for our family and friends. The kitchen was well-appointed. We loved the two-story dock with slide and the short walk down to the dock (by Norris Lake standards). The nearby boat ramp and place to store our trailers was very convenient. The driveway, though a little tricky in spots, left plenty of room for cars to park. Overall, a great spot for families and we would happily rent again.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

The sizes of the house and the dock easily accommodated everyone. Despite our limited time in the water and on the dock (crappy weather), the kids were fully entertained with the game tables at the house. The location was perfect and the cove was super chill. Overall a great experience! Everyone agrees that we would 100% stay here again!

Great family gathering spot!

We had a great weekend at Hidden Treasure with 18 adults and seven kids. Wonderful kitchen and gathering area. Enough room for all to spread out and enjoy. Jon also had a boat there ready for us for weekend. Getting there can be a bit tricky on gravel driveway/ road especially if driving in in the dark. We loved Hidden Treasure!
