They honored our request for ground floor room close to parking. I think there were only a few guests, so that was easy. The beds were comfortable. The microwave & fridge were clean & worked fine. Old, wornout furniture in the room--scratched, gouged up, etc. Sticky bathroom floor. Seriously in need of upgrades. "Breakfast" was coffee & tea--thankfully we weren't planning on it being our actual meal. Huge issue with checkout time. Listed on Expedia as 11am, when I checked in, I was told 10am & they charge an extra day immediately for late checkout. AND they have a sign saying 10am! Chatted with Expedia--they called the property & were told, something like "No we have 11am not 10am checkout. No extra charge if they stay until 11! We have an early checkout option." But they have that sign...and EVERY hotel lets you leave before the official checkout time! I wasted my key points on this one!

The room I had booked was not ready, key lock didn’t work, was moved to a different incomplete room that was dirty and when I asked for room service was not given any for the entire stay. The only person who I had encountered actually came to get me in my room with a bad door lock with a towel wrapped around him as if he had just gotten out of the shower. Very unprofessional!

I stayed only overnight in October. Property a bit tired and run down. Bed decent slept ok. Pillows ok. Shower clean and water pressure decent. Served it’s purpose for a 1 night stay. I usually stay at the hotels in Evans Mills when I’m up but was only up for 1 day and needed to be as close to Carthage as possible. Not sure if u recommend at all if you want nice atmosphere because place is really only useful for a quick in and out situation.

You should reconsider your association with this motel. Upon arrival we noticed many men drinking near the fire pit area, "o.k. men traveling enjoying each others company." About 10 p.m. definite yelling and fighting in one or more rooms. About 2 am woman screaming and other's loud talking. In morning we were told by community business persons this is a known temporary residence for released pedophiles and sex offenders. IF THIS IS TRUE THEN: We, the usual traveler, should not be uninformed and exposed to this situation and possible danger. Plus, we need our sleep! Understanding there are laws; I need to trust you will only offer me safe, honest and reliable residences for me to sleep while on vacation. Again, reconsider your association with this and any other such motels. Or find a legal way to warn your clients!

The entire place smells so strongly of deodorizer it left my eyes and throat burning. Lots of road noise and uncomfortable beds. Obvious stains on sheets and carpet. Bathroom was surprisingly clean so getting a shower was the best part of my stay. This place has seen better days.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, run down
This location was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The entire place is a bit run down, which is reflected in the price you pay. Bedding looks like it's straight out of the 1970s. Carpets in the hallways and rooms show some kind of stains at the edges by the walls, looks like bleach. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, I'd stay here again if in the area.

Strong mothballs odor. 1st room provided no lights worked and had old food in the fridge. 2nd room very uncomfortable beds. Room above us could be heard. Got woken up at midnight by someone trying to kick down doors and the police. Left at 1230 am on 1st night of a 3 night stay and didn’t go back.

Ironically, for a place named Pleasant Night, I did not have a pleasant night. The room smelled terrible. I couldn’t figure out what the smell was, but it was so foul that I couldn’t sleep most of the night. It smelled toxic to me so much that I almost went to sleep in my car. In the morning, I saw a moth ball in a corner of the bathroom, so that must have been where the smell was coming from. I can’t stand the smell of mothballs and felt like I was breathing toxic fumes all night. The bedspreads were stained, but the sheets seemed clean. The carpet was old and in disrepair with stains, but that seemed trivial compared to the smell. The Expedia app said this location offers breakfast, but when I got there, they did not. I also didn’t understand the credit card payment slip they were asking me to sign for payment when I had already paid through Expedia. I felt like I was being charged additional expenses to stay there. I was still grateful to have a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in, but currently I can’t recommend this hotel.

It was a place to rest but the gent at the front dest asked like he didn't know what he was to do and not friendly. Almost like he distracted. Also I not like that he copied my drivers license. Why?? He then slapped the card key on the counter (without an envelope) and announces "room 105). The fridge was luke warm even after I turned it down. The carpets in hallway old and beat. The room furniture had the finish scratched and worn down. The bathroom vent was plugged with lint. I'll never go back.

The place is a drive by drug motel. It stunk of mold and mildew and people hanging out the windows waiting for a drug pickup!!!

Pleasant family owned motel. Very clean, and other clientele were friendly. I wished they had a coffee maker and a blow dryer, but all I’m all a nice place to stay.

Exactly as expected
It's definitely a small town hotel. Front desk needs a way to know when people are at the desk. There was no way to get their attention when they aren't at the desk for check-in. Room was very musty smelling, but was clean. Beds are comfy, just loud because the mattresses are covered with plastic. Overall, good stay. Exactly what I expected from a small town hotel.

Not cleanly
The motel was a standard no thrills place, with a simple room. The room and hallway smelled like old indian food. The screen on the window was busted and looked like someone had tried to break in at some point. There was alot of blood on the bottom of the curtain on the window and pubic hair stuck on the shower curtain. The beds were very firm and not very comfortable. The place would be much better with a thorugh deep clean.

Short stay
The location was convenient. The room was clean. The hallway was clean. The parking lot was clean. Free breakfast was supposed to be included but there was nothing prepared. I found some supplies like cereal but no milk. Waffle syrup and grease for the waffle maker but no waffle mix. The coffee machine released water. There was non dairy creamer. I don’t know if COVID had anything to do with it but there was no one at the desk in the morning to ask. Overall though, I was happy simply because it was clean.

Our stay was on Saturday, not Friday. People across the hall were noisy late at night, no amenities were offered, no breakfast offered although advertised.

I liked that it was clean, and very quiet. Only complaint i really have if there was one, the ac unit didnt work like it was supposed to but i managed to get it to work just good enough where i could sleep

Okay stay could be better.
The check in was quick and easy. Checked out the room fairly quick bed bug situation and such none found. 2 pods of coffee even though we had 3 people. Put do not disturb sign on door and they still came in did towels and such but didn't add any coffee pods for next day. Then we found condom wrapper under one of the beds. Check out we had to call hotel as no one was around desk. The man came out of back office still half asleep mind you it was 1045am. But overall it was okay.

We stayed here for four nights and the whole experience was awful. The towels and sheets have mystery stains all over them the rooms and halls have a stench that makes you nauseous. The beds which are already low quality and uncomfortable, are wrapped in plastic so you wake up in a pool of sweat. The hotel is not old but the people who Clean are not doing a good job, I found mold on the windows and I was stepping over crumbs and food on the floor next to my bed. The breakfast they have available is plain Cheerios, plain bagels, and wretched coffee I couldn’t even drink. This place needs a lot of work.

This was awful. There was never an attendant at the front desk. The hotel reeked of smoke and marijuana. At check in the guy didn’t take any info besides my name. He said 214 around the corner and handed me two keys. He wrote 214 in the air with his finger. We tried to call the desk for WiFi password and there was no dial tone, the phone wasn’t plugged into anything. We tried calling from our cell phone and no one answered.The place hasn’t been vacuumed in months at least. Even though we entered 4 people on the reservation there were not enough towels so we went down At 802 and had to Paige the desk person and when he finally cane we asked for towels and he said “housekeeping comes in at 830”. We told him we needed to shower now because we have to go and he said “well I would have to go to the laundry room” for the love of Pete sorry for trying to use your hotel dude. I couldn’t stand the smell nor could I stand how dirty it felt so we checked out after one night even though we paid for 2. I told the guy at the desk (after paying him again) that we paid for two nights but the hotel smells so bad and is dirty so I can’t possibly stay another night and he said “so you are checking out” and I said yes and he said “okay”.
