Absolutely stunning place! Everything was exactly as pictured, and we enjoyed having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the rooftop. The pool was perfect to cool off after sightseeing during the day. Great location right Along, the wall, and close to great restaurants.

The host was incredibly responsive and kept in constant communication, making the whole stay seamless. She even made sure the driver, Robert, was ready when my flight was delayed, and Maria, the housekeeper, was so kind—she had a cake waiting for my birthday! The home itself is comfortable, cozy, and spotless. The location is perfect—within walking distance to everything—and it feels very safe with 24/7 security. It’s such a tranquil place to return to after a day of activities. I would absolutely stay here again!

MAGNIFICENT! Prime Old Town Experience

Can’t beat location in Old Town - everything is walkable with many great restaurants very close by. The condo is very comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and Maria comes to tidy up the place and her cooking is amazing!! Highly recommend!

Incredible Old City Family Adventure

It was everything we read about and then some! My entire family had a great vacation. After a delicious local cuisine breakfast prepared by Maria, we explored the walled city just a block from everything. The property is the perfect location!

Perfect location!

My son and I stayed here for a wedding and it was a perfect time. The unit is well located right near the historic wall and easy to get around the city. Unit very nicely appointed. Beds super comfortable. Maria is a lovely lady and we muddled through my lack of Spanish and her lack of English. Thank you!

Perfect location!

Our 7 night stay was incredible! The location was perfect. We were 3-4 blocks away from several of the bustling plazas with street performers, restaurants and food vendors yet the block and complex were quiet and serene. We spent most mornings wandering around and would usually come back mid afternoon to enjoy the air conditioning and a dip in one of the pools before going out for the evening (The kids pool was 10 steps outside of the apartment and rarely had people in it, the adult pool was steps away). Super convenient to have a main floor entrance. The space was large, the photos do not do it justice. The main floor was ample living space, well stocked kitchen and a powder bath. Second and third floors were large en suite bedrooms with patios it was just my husband and I so we did not even use the third floor, but we did enjoy the rooftop patio on the 4th level earning morning or evenings. We did not experience Maria’s cooking, but she was incredible and communicative. We flew overnight and arrived at 10 AM, they were very accommodating to take in our bags while we explored the city until check-in. We felt very safe in the city overall, but it was wonderful to have a secure building that was guarded 24/7 with lovely staff. The host sent us recommendations a week or so ahead of time, which were helpful in planning our trip. We also indulged in three of their recommended restaurants, which were incredible. We highly recommend this amazing accommodation and host team!

Lovely! Will stay here again!

This was a perfect location in the walled city. Right outside of all the hustling of the city to enjoy the peace of the neighborhood and close enough to get to all the activities within five minutes. Maria is a master cook and super sweet. Osiris was easy to talk to and address any issues. Only concern would be the stairs for those who can’t do stairs. But the stairs also provide a level of privacy with each bedroom being on an opposite floor. We loved it! The internet was spotty.

Fantastic stay

We loved our stay at Osi’s! The unit is huge and the pictures do not do it justice. The roof top deck is lovely with its hammock and ocean views and the A/C works well. We had Marie cook a few meals for us and I can highly recommend her ceviche and fish dish with coconut rice. The complex retains some of its old world charm with modern updates such as adult and children pool areas. We felt safe and enjoyed easy access around old town. You will undoubtedly love your stay and bring back fond memories of this lovely home and Cartagena.

Very comfortable appartment in an amazing location!

Perfect location for exploring Cartagena! We spent hours wandering through the walled city and were happy to enjoy the comfort of the appartment afterwards. the 2 bedrooms are situated on different floors, offering a lot of privacy. I really loved everything about our stay!

Shenanigans in Cartagena

We had a fabulous time in Cartagena. We had a couple join us who have never been to Colombia and they fell in love with the city (and the country). We played golf, we did a day excursion to Isla Del Sol and walked and shopped and ate at some amazing restaurants. The location of your place is perfect and you can catch an Uber within minutes to anywhere you want to go. We were there for 5 days and time flew by and we didn’t even scratch the surface of things to do and places to go. We went outside of the walled city to the streets that have the umbrellas and highly recommend it. This is very safe with 24 hour security to let you in and out and Maria will take care of anything you need, cleaning/laundry etc…can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful time staying here. It is a very comfortable and beautiful apartment. It is very centrally-located while also not being in an extremely crowded and loud area. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. Very good air conditioning. Maria was also a wonderful cook and very attentive. Osi, the owner was also very attentive and helped us with recommendations before arriving. We will definitely stay there in the future.

Beautiful, clean and quiet home

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this home. It was quiet, clean, and conveniently located in the Old City. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go and the two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom connected to the bedroom were so comfortable and convenient. We made use of the pool in the development, as well, and Maria the housekeeper was available every weekday. The rooftop patio was lovely to sit outside in the early morning. It should be noted that you do need to be comfortable going up and down the stairs since the bedrooms are on the second and third floors. Air conditioning worked well in our bedrooms and the living room, and there was hot water, as well. I would definitely recommend staying at this home and I would be happy to return if I have the opportunity to visit Cartagena again!

Great and convenient location!

Casa del Virrey Eslava is a beautiful location within the walled city of Cartagena. We enjoyed walking around its charming streets, historical monuments, cathedrals and many other fun places. The house’s terraza was very cute even though we were so tired after a long day of nonstop walking, that we couldn’t make it to the top roof to enjoy it! We adjusted to the many stairs of this house (quite the workout) but beware… for older people this will be an issue. Both bedrooms were comfortable, each with a bathroom and a balcony. We didn’t utilize the balconies a as they were a little too tight for our comfort. All 3 fkiors were equipped with AC, which we welcomed happily after been walking around this super humid city! Maria, the house keeper, was very nice and available to help when needed. The place is always clean as well as its surroundings. People at the front desk were also kind and also greeted us with a smile. We highly recommend this place as you won’t need to rent a car due to its convenient location. But if you are eager to explore outside of it, taxis are always available.

Excellent modern apartment in a quiet neighborhood

This apartment is modern, with great views from the roof deck and easy access to the Old City. Communication with Osi was seamless. The pool was a nice reprieve from the heat.
