Fantastic!

I booked this for my sister-in-law and her 2 teenage kids, and although the visit was too short, they loved the time they spent there! I was able to visit it with them too, and it's such a wonderful space. So many elegant and comfortable details. So while I didn't stay there myself, I heard nothing but glowing reviews from my family. They really enjoyed it and we look forward to booking it again!

Wonderful!!

Our stay was wonderful!! As beautiful as the property is in the online photos, it is even more spacious and beautiful in person. Located just blocks from the beach, the Playa Penthouse was a perfect spot for our brief family getaway over the winter holidays. First-rate furnishings and appliances in a lovely accommodation, and very well managed and maintained. We look forward to visiting again, perhaps next time in spring or summer.

Great vacation

The unit looks as advertised, if not nicer in person. The location is very convenient to the the beach and to stores and restaurants in Carpinteria - all walking distance. The property manager Linda was incredibly responsive and efficient in solving any small issues that came up. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property walk to beach park and town

It was very comfortable with updated amenities and large enough for a family to enjoy and relax. Fireplaces a bonus for outdoor dining. Property manager accommodating and a gem to work with.

Great Property great location

This was a great property in a great part of Carpenteria. There were a few maintenance issues like burned out light bulbs that should have been taken care of in a property like this.

AMAZING PLACE!

We had a fabulous stay! Everything in the place is thoughtful and quality. The outdoor seating is great - we ate meals, hung out, played cards, etc. outside and loved it. The location can't be beat - steps to the beach and a few blocks from a full grocery store and shopes. For surfers - it is near a break that you can walk to with your board. Santa Barbara is not too far away for good shopping and dining, though we went in town less frequently than we thought. We did find some tennis/pickle ball courts in SB that we enjoyed. Lots of activities - yoga in the park, long walks on beach, etc. The house itself has everything you will need. Unlike many rentals that have bare cupboards, there were basics for use (olive oil, balsamic, spices, etc.), everything you will ever need to prepare some meals at home. The beds were amzingly comfortable with high end sheets and towels. While close to the beach, it is very quiet. The property manager was immediately available for even silly questions like how to run the garbage disposal! Thank you for sharing this great home! Michelle

mini vacation

We stayed at Playa with our adult children and grandchildren. The penthouse was perfect! Everything we needed and more. A short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants. The outside shower was very useful to rinse off. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We only wish we had stayed longer.

Great Time as Always

This is our third stay at this location. I suppose that says it all. We keep coming back because we love this property. Great Location to the beach and restaurants. We loved the Italian food at Gianfranco Trattoria. We always get a burger or tacos at the Spot. Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing weekend!

The house is amazing! Definitely bigger than it appears in pictures. One block walk to the beach and directly across the street from a park. Easy access to everything and we loved the roof top deck! Will rent this house again

The best place in Carp!

We literally love this place! We’ve stayed here for years now and it is our happy place! The place is beautiful and incredibly comfortable. It had all the amenities you could want or need. We love family dinners in the kitchen and sitting by the fire at nights. It’s only a block to the ocean and the worlds safest beach. And it is walking distance to the whole lovely, charming town. This is THE place to stay when you come to Carpinteria with family and/or friends!
