Family vacation

We had a great vacation. 1st time to Carolina Beach. Your place was wonderful. The convenience to the beach and downtown was awesome. The place was well maintained and exactly as described and pictured. Well worth the price I paid. The one thing I recommend is a curtain in the bedroom because the sun tends to wake you up early if you want to sleep in. Other than we were very happy with our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Convenient

Me and my sons do things from Wilmington to Southport on our Vacations. This location falls between the two and allows us to walk to just about everything Carolina Beach offers. We love it, this was not our first stay at this property and won’t be our last.

The only major complaint was the bed frame in the bedroom is very flimsy. Could use a deep clean but very comfortable place and great location.

Did the job

Location is amazing. Place is very basic but clean. Make sure you read the expectations and remember them before packing. We got mixed up with some other places we had seen and made some wrong assumptions, but that was our fault. Try the shakes at the veggie place across the street. So good. The beach is so great also

Great communication and location

This house was perfect for our small family of 3. The location was ideal- you can see the beach access just across the road, and on the other side of the street is the Veggie Wagon, a neat little store that sells coffee, milkshakes, sweets, beers on tap, and more. We walked to most restaurants- Hang Ten, Britt’s Donuts, Kate’s Pancake House, Michelangelo's Pizza, all with our toddler in a stroller. We felt very safe the entire trip. The neighbors next door were friendly, the unit shares the front deck with them, but if you want a private outdoor space, there’s a small deck off the kitchen which we enjoyed. I liked that there was a little gated fence separating the road from the house, with a neat outdoor shower to wash off beach gear and feet. The actual house was small, especially the bathroom, but we anticipated that- the pictures depict it well. It was very tidy and clean. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The best part of this trip though was the communication. The host answered all of my questions promptly, even before the trip. When we arrived the first day, we noticed the ac unit in the living room wasn’t blowing cool air. The host responded almost right away with a number for maintenance, maintenance got back to us early the next morning and sent someone out that day. The ac unit ended up needing to be replaced, which they did promptly. Can’t say enough good things about how well everyone communicated. We definitely recommend!

Great trip

Very easy to find and get into. Had everything we need and more. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating. We looked at the other properties owned by the same company around the same area and plan to check out more of them.

Perfect getaway

We go to the beach almost every year and I am so happy with how this year turned out ! Everything was clean , the host was amazing, he always responded in a timely manner and was super helpful! If we go to this area again we will definitely book again!!

Perfect Beach 'Launch Pad'

Quaint little property. Perfect launch pad for a stay at the beach, w/ beach access almost directly across the street. Simple place w/ all of the essentials for the 4 of us. Within walking distance of the neighboring boardwalk and restaurants.

Amazing location and very comfortable

We had a GREAT stay! The unit was clean and comfortable, it was larger than we had expected. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. The host was very communicative and helpful. The beach on one side and The Veggie Wagon on the other, couldn't ask for a better location! Can't wait to come back!

Great place for a great price

My husband and I stayed in suite 4 of the Vitamin Sea Suites. The owner communicated very clearly about what was and what was not included in the place so our expectations were set and we were prepared. Some things don't come with the property - bath towels, hand towels, floor mats, bed linens, etc. If we were flying that would have been more of an issue for us but thankfully we drove and could pack it. I would recommend also bringing things like coffee filters - they have a coffee machine but no filters. It felt like they had the bare minimum but for the price and location and cleanliness it was still worth it. It is literally right across from the beach and an easy walk to the boardwalk and so many restaurants. You'll have to try the Veggie Wagon across the road. Would 100% stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights. Found bugs each morning. Hair in the shower wasn’t cleaned. Overall avg. value at best for the area and selection….make sure you remember to read the fine print and bring a towel and bedding! Unreal

A Quaint Little Beachside Gem!

I had a great stay here! Only wish I could've stayed longer! I will start making it a regular annual visit for myself! The place was quiet and location was fantastic. Dale was awesome to work with and very responsive. Can't wait to come back!
