Lovely beach house

We love this house! This is our second stay there and we hope to be back. The location is incredible: beautiful view and peaceful setting. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable. Unfortunately, just prior to our arrival the beach path was washed away and cannot be replaced. However, beach access is still available a short walk away and the owner stopped by to drop off a nice beach cart. Totally not a deal breaker. We had a great stay and are already looking forward to next year.

Location location location

The parking area is a bit overgrown giving the house an abandoned feel and I t’s just through the gate for Freeman Park so getting in and out is kind of a pain, but when you get to the perch by the ocean that doesn’t matter a bit. If you have dogs this is THE perfect house. The entire deck is gated so it’s super convenient. It’s not the fanciest house but you’re ocean front so it’s totally worth it.

Love the location. Cottage well equipped in kitchen and did have some beach stuff in basement( didn’t use any, brought our own). The only suggestion I would give is to have a ceiling fan for screened porch. I do love the older style beach cottage’s. Also the deck and walkway to beach was super nice.

Great property needs a few minor things

View is amazing. Property is as described. Few issues the grill is not worthy of cooking food on it to feed my family that needs to be replaced. Also, the pull out couch was broken and we could not use it so I had to sleep on a pretty uncomfortable couch, other than that everything’s great

Great location

We loved our stay at this location as it was wonderful having the beach just a few steps away. Having said that, there were some major mold issues in the bathrooms and the tile floor is stained throughout the house. Since we spent so much time at the beach, the issues with the house didn’t really bother us. If the owners put a little TLC into this property, it would go from good to spectacular.

Location, location, location

Honestly, the location of this property couldn’t be more perfect. Right on the beach, with a little private deck that takes you right to it. The beds were all a little small for myself, my husband and our puppy who won’t sleep anywhere but with us (😂) and the house is small- 700sq ft. But we knew that going into it and we had 2 10-year old boys with us too and we all fit just fine. We weren’t there during peak season so the boardwalk was closed, which was a bummer, but not the fault of the property owner whatsoever. The boys had a blast on the beach all weekend and my husband and I had such a great time relaxing on the deck and the screened in porch. The only reason I took a star away is that the place is pretty dated- it needs a little repair/repaint/decor work. Overall we had a blast and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a single family home right on the beach. The check-in/ check-out process was super easy, they left us plenty of towels/sheets/pots and pans to work with, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only good thing about this property was the beautiful view and closeness to the ocean, as well as closeness to the park. The mattress in both main bedrooms were horrible, leaving all with backaches. The living room furniture was worn out, dirty and very uncomfortable. Can't imagine renting a place in this condition. Are there any health or safety inspections on these rentals, if so this home should be condemmed. My husband and I are in mid 80's and still suffering with back and neck aches. There was literally no place to relax in this home.Mattres and living room furniture were in deplorable and unusable condition. The owner in good conscience should refund some of the money
