    Welcome to Toes in the Sand!

    Enjoy a relaxing Carolina Beach getaway at this stylish two-story, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom duplex located just a short walk to the beach. With plenty of space for family and friends, multiple outdoor areas, and convenient access to everything Carolina Beach has to offer, this home makes it easy to settle into vacation mode!

    Inside, the bright and open living area offers comfortable furnishings and direct access to the balcony, creating an inviting space to gather after a day at the beach. Step outside to enjoy the coastal air from the main balcony, or retreat to the private primary bedroom balcony with access to a crow's nest offering elevated views of the surrounding area.

    The open kitchen and dining area provide a comfortable central space for meals and time together. With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, there's plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The primary suite features a queen bed, private balcony, and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a full-size bed and sliding glass door that can be opened to let in the fresh coastal air. The third bedroom includes two twin beds, while the fourth bedroom features another queen bed. Two additional full bathrooms include a walk-in shower and a tub/shower combination.

    After a day by the water, rinse away the sand in the heated outdoor shower before relaxing on the balcony or patio. A beach cart, sand toys, and beach umbrella make trips to the shore a little easier, while the crow's nest provides a unique spot to take in the surrounding coastal scenery. Parking is available for up to six vehicles, with space for three in the driveway and three under the carport.

    The beach is just a short 350-yard walk away, making it easy to spend your days swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or simply relaxing along the shore. Lake Park Boulevard is only one block away, putting local restaurants, shopping, and entertainment within easy reach. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk is approximately one mile away, where you'll find dining, nightlife, seasonal entertainment, an arcade, amusement rides, and weekly summer fireworks!

    Please note that this home is accessed by a flight of stairs and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.

Plenty of room for girls getaway

Spacious House Great Location

Ample room for everyone. Especially appreciated the bedroom on the main floor for my 88 year old mom. Great location. Quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful and Convenient

Toes in the Sand was close to lots of shops, restaurants, and great night life. The kitchen was very well stocked. The bedrooms were gorgeous. Lots of outside sitting spaces were an added bonus. Loved the wagon to help with the short walk to the beach.

Nicely decorated. Roomy. Good supply of laundry detergent, toilet paper, soap, etc. Close to the beach and lots of beach toys, chairs, wagon etc available.

First time to Carolina Beach

We loved the area that we stayed in. We were on a dead end road and it was quiet. We were very close to the beach which was great to were we didn’t have to pay for parking to go to the beach . The house was plenty of room. The only complaints we had were the beds were not very comfortable and we had to clean the shower heads. Other than that it was a great spot to stay for the week.

East and West Coast Family Gathering

The beach house and location was perfect! The house look just like the photos! The decorations in every room were beautiful! The house had everything thing that we needed to prepare meals! It was spacious enough for everyone. We all loved the five minute walk to the beach! We really like the fact the beach was not crowded. My son and wife flew in from Seattle and the airport ride was less than 30 minutes. My so.n and daughter agree that will book again!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed at this lovely home and it didn’t disappoint. It is located in a quiet, dead end street, but close to all. Within walking distance of the beach, lake, restaurants, shops and amusement park. This home had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds, new carpeting and a cute little viewing tower. The only thing they lacked were some family games. Vacasa customer service was excellent. Reps answered calls and text messages immediately. We had a blast and will definitely book our future stays with them again.

Worst experience ever

Broken beds, broken blinds, dead plants, pots/pans peeling Teflon, a/c went out on Wednesday of trip. We checked out a day early due to conditions. Manager of property delayed contacting us to correct. Some portion of stay refunded.

The location was excellent. The house was clean and had plenty of room. We loved being on the no-outlet end of the road. While the kitchen was spacious, it was missing adequate dishes and pots that we needed, especially considering we prepare all of our meals. The dishwasher does not work well, so prepare to hand wash your dishes—which was a lot for us. The instructions for accessing the outdoor storage were incorrect. I had to call customer service then wait for a call from the host. I was offended when she asked why we were needing to access storage. First of all, it’s where the grill was supposed to be. The listing also indicated there were other beach items that could be used. There was no grill. The only grill was a very small one with a broken grill. So, we couldn’t really use it, which was unfortunate since we had planned to grill most of our food. And the other items in storage were old and/or broken, so they couldn’t be used.

Dirty…Ditty….Dirty

As soon as we walked up to the front door the blinds were ripped and broken at that point we should have known what kind of a place this was going to be. Very dirty…ceiling fan blades were filthy dirty and the dust came off of them when you turned them on. There were used toilet bowl brushes under the kitchen sink, grease on the wall behind the stove, the kitchen island had food that was hard and dry, the refrigerator handles had dried food, kitchen. drawers were sticky, we only received 2 rolls of toilets paper , no hand soap no paper towels, we were given one bath towel each for the week, a used bar of was on the table when you walked to the top of the stairs., kitchen floors were dirty, the air vents and return vents were so dirty the air was not circulating. We have stayed in many homes and never have had such a property so ill kept and the basic necessities not given to their guests. We liked location but would NOT recommend this property to anyone.

Very Nice Vacation

Stayed in July 2025. House is beautiful. Nice, quiet street. We never heard any noise from neighbors, the road, traffic, people. Felt secluded, but very close to the beach, and directly across from a public access. Great location. The house had a lot of room for the 7 of us. Never once felt cramped. Large living room area. I did feel there wasn't ample couch seating for the number of guests, but when people sat at the dining table, everyone could gather in the space. Kitchen was nice and open. Some of the kitchen necessities were a bit lacking. Only seven plates, 5 shallow bowls, basic drink ware seemed sparse. There was a cookie sheet, a roasting tray, a crockpot, several blenders, a coffee maker/pot and 4-slice toaster. So if you need anything else, bring it. Each room was large and comfortable. I was happy with the bed in the master, and no one else complained about their beds, so they were happy too. A/C worked great, kept the place nice and cool on those hot days. Water pressure and temperature were great. Kept up with all of the guests with no problem. I would stay at this property again if I need place for as many people as we had this year. Would give 4.5-stars due to a maintenance issue that wasn't Vacasa or really the homeowners fault. (Vacasa responded very quickly, and got it fixed fast) Less kitchen supplies than other places I've stayed. Needing a bit more couch seating for larger groups. And a large bug we found in one room, but we saw no other evidence of more bugs. So I rounded up to 5.

Great house with air conditioning issues

Proximity to the beach and restaurants were fantastic and exactly as stated. Public beach access at Tennessee street was easy and very close. Restaurants, desserts, and a bar were all within walking distance as well. A great little place called the Veggie Wagon with coffee, beer, local honey, and treats was 0.5 miles away and a nice walk for a morning coffee then head to the beach. There are a few chair and umbrella rental companies that make the beach and shade easy. Thursday night was fun with a local band playing on the pier turned into a local bar with fireworks down the way. Carolina Beach itself was lovely with great people and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked with enough kitchen supplies to cook and eat at home if desired. Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker works great. The home was spacious and the beds were comfortable and great bathrooms! Overall a comfortable place to spend a week. The downstairs was also a nice place to sit outside and hang out. Air conditioning issue- ask if resolved before renting! For us, the air issues started on Monday night. Vacasa is responsive and sent someone out every time to make sure we were safe considering it was a very hot week and the house is not one that could be lived in without air. While I understand things happen in a house- air conditioners do stop working and am appreciative of the maintenance man for Vacasa and his ability to get us relief for the heat that allowed us to continue our vacation, I am torn from being sad that this man had to continue to come to our house over and over with bandaid fixes and truly appreciative of the 24 hour responses and help allowing us to enjoy. My wonder is if a permanent fix would have been activated on Tuesday, could the issue have been resolved and we would not have had to spend part of our vacation navigating this issue.
