Beach trip

The house is very nice and has everything you need. It is a bit if a hike to the beach but walkable. Since they don’t have a golf cart renting one would be a good idea. I wish I would have known that. Otherwise the place is nice.

Best beach house for families!

We loved this beach house! It was only a short walk to the beach and we loved how kid friendly it was! We were happily surprised to find toys for our 1 year old and 3 year old, and even a pack n play! Very clean and updated. It had everything we needed and more!

Clean & great outdoors area

We loved our stay at Shrimply the Best. It was very clean. The beds were comfy. We had enough room to spread out. We loved the outside area. The pup loved it too! It was located in a nice area and was nicely priced. The only negatives were the following: the A/C went out once and another day it was making a very loud sound. The rental company had someone out both days pretty quickly but we still had to wait for them to come. Not a huge deal however we did miss some time doing other things had we not had to deal with that. The other thing was that there was a lot of light coming in the bedrooms in the mornings (also it was not that dark at night either). Some in our group were fine with it and some weren't. Personally, I have a hard time sleeping with a lot of light in the room so some blackout curtains and something to cover up the upper windows in the bedrooms would be great. Other than those 2 things, we loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Kid Requested Parent Approved (again!)

DO NOT STAY

Our stay the 4 days was a continual problem that we had to call about. Dirty chairs, broken cabinet, sink in kitchen wasn't working, dirty coffee pot. Stains on the master bedroom comforter. Huge water bugs in the upper bedroom. Worst stay of problems. And our linens were wrapped in plastic wrap w sheets ...After driving 10 hrs ...Worst

Beautiful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this beautiful home (pictures are accurate). The owners have taken extra care to pay attention to even the smallest details, making it feel like a retreat. Good size rooms, comfy beds, full kitchen, easy walk to the beach, close walk/drive to anything you need, perfect location near many fun excursions. Property management is positive and incredibly responsive. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Home Away from Home

Property looks exactly as listed. It's in a very nice, friendly, quiet neighborhood, conveniently located a few blocks away from the beach (about a five minute walk). Roomy and very comfortable, with attractive decor. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Covered carport and yard provided another area to gather. Glad we brought our own chairs and umbrella.

Very comfortable duplex!

Overall a wonderful stay. However, if you bring a dog, the backyard is not completely fenced or enclosed. three corners are open and no specific gate, just an opening. Outdoor shower is convenient and nice, but not private due to a shower curtain and not a latch door . Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Thank you.

Perfect place

We loved this unit! It was so nicely decorated, well equipped for cooking and entertaining family. The yard and outdoor setup was super nice for hanging out after the beach with cocktails The location was perfect for us and the surrounding neighborhood is really nice! Truly the BEST!

This may be the nicest vacation rental we've ever stayed in at the beach. It was clean, tastefully furnished (so many vacation homes have ugly wall colors and furniture with shells and palm trees. This was tasteful without that stuff!). The neighborhood was brand new, very nice and a great walk to the beach. It was nice to have a place that had all the kitchen stuff we needed too. A great stay! We look forward to staying there again in the future!
