Overall a great location and view. Close to everything you could want. Previous reviews mentioned that the beds were difficult to get out of but I would say they were honestly a bit painful to get out of too. Especially if you have guests that have limited movement. We liked the place and the communication/checkin processes were great… but probably wouldn’t stay again due to the beds/pillows.

Great apartment Terrible Management

Place was great, could have been cleaner but very good. We have stayed in Carolina Beach early in the season many years. Often we have small issues as we are first renters of the season. This was no different except response from Property Manager was ineffective. When challenged they offered a small refund as long as we agreed to not complain in public. Again great apartment but I will not rent any property with “IStay” again. Willl be contacting better business bureau in Wilmington.

Disappointed with Roaches/Cleanliness

The property has some issues ranging from exposed electrical outlets and spotty cleanliness. Crumbs in the utensil drawer were surprising. The cleanliness issue also led to a roach infestation which rendered the deck unusable in the evening as we were literally attacked by a colony of roaches. The property manager was responsive and tried to remedy the situation. We appreciated the effort however it wasn’t the experience we’d hoped for.

Beautiful oceanfront condo!

We had a GREAT stay at the condo! The view and balcony were beautiful. The place was comfortable, clean and had everything necessary for our family of 4 to enjoy! The communication with management company was very easy and they answered all of my questions I had. Will stay again next summer!

Great Location in Carolina Beach

The location of this property absolutely cannot be beaten. Direct beach access right next to the building and walkable to restaurants and the boardwalk. Overall the interior was nice. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of seating and the beds were comfortable. The beds are beautiful but have a wooden frame that makes getting in/out a bit difficult. Something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. We weren't impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which had mold along the floor and water-stained glass. The ends of the ledge on the patio had rotting wood that had been covered with cardboard and duct tape. We had a plumbing issue in the kitchen that caused dirty, smelly water to back up all over the kitchen floor and into the dishwasher. There was only a small mop and the white bath towels, so we had to use our own beach towels to clean up the mess. The sink was also clogged and unusable. The property manager sent someone out within a couple of hours and he fixed the leak under the sink, but he didn't fix the clog. We reached out again and he couldn't come back until the next day. We didn't want to be without a kitchen, so we chose to purchase Draino and fix the issue ourselves. We received no apology from the management company or offer to reimburse us for the time and money we spent to resolve a simple issue that should've been fixed on the first visit. Because of how this issue was handled, I likely wouldn't stay at the property again.

Very good for family

My wife and I stayed here with our 3 kids ages 7 and under over the Labor Day weekend in Sep 2023. We enjoyed our stay overall. The property is well laid out with great views of the ocean from inside the unit and the patio. The beds were super comfortable. The bathrooms had high quality showers and kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances. It's close to the boardwalk and you can see the fireworks in the boardwalk from the patio! The beds and pillows were the best I have slept on in any hotel or rental property! The storage shelf was stocked with toys and beach chairs. We're not giving 5 stars because there were a few maintenance issues, like the sliding door to the patio not locking, the table in the patio rotting making it unsafe for kids, and lots of dust & lint on the master bedroom headboard. The maintenance staff came and provided workarounds (like a stick to block the patio door from opening at night and duck tape over rotten wood), but I expect owners to keep it well-maintained at all times to give 5 stars.

Excellent Stay!

The condo is very clean and modern! The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on outside of my own. My sleep was great! They had everything thing I needed for my stay. Short walk to the beach and sa few blocks to the boardwalk. We will stay there again!

Serenity in Views

Book on iTrip to save $350 wish I had known. Otherwise GREAT! Amazing views from this condo. Beach chairs, body boards, and every kitchen necessity was provided. Walking distance to most everything. Recommend!

Great house and location

We couldn't be happier with our stay, i have no bad things to say about this house. The assigned parking really did it for me as well, while most other condos here do not have this system of parking. We have been visiting Carolina Beach for 5 years now, and this year was one of the most enjoyable experiences thanks to the Serenity beach house

Perfect location!

This was an amazing location- within walking distance to several delicious restaurants and also the boardwalk! The condo itself was very clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Looking forward to our next stay with iTrip!

Very good communication with owners.. few things that was a miss but not anything that would ruin the trip. If we stayed longer it would be more bothersome. 1. Seemed like the water at the kitchen sink did not get hot to wash dishes. Had a dishwasher but only had a few dishes to clean 2. Beds in rooms was comfortable however they was platform beds with a solid wooden border. Made hard to get out of....3. Disposing of garbage was an issue, cans was supposed to be under the canopy however they was not. Had to use a public can that if you had a large trash bag would have been an issue. 4. Lack of bowls in kitchen. Serving bowls and cereal bowls. If you like your cereal in the morning buy some Good things 1. Excellent checking in process and prep ahead. Even got a text telling me that the condo was ready forcheck in. 2. Over the top communication with the managing business. Family owned... which I always like to support. 3. Location out of way, Quiet and nice and relaxing. Close to everything but out of the way as well. Some you could have your own slice of paradise. 4. Check out process just as simple and easy. 5. They also gave u a starter pack of toiletries, paper products, soaps etc which is nice so you don't have to run or tear everything apart as soon as you get there.
