Very nice oceanfront 2 & 3 stories up gives great ocean view. Elevator is great help. Only complaint is the lack of soundproofing between floors. The 2nd unit is on floor one and we were on 2 & 3. It’s a very nice place and well equipped.

Eastern Seaboard Family Getaway

This property was fantastic. The planning of the property was well executed for the beach access, pool, outdoor showers, outdoor storage and outdoor deck with separate grilling set up for both units. We weren’t able to get our keys until 6PM which is hours later than I have experienced with other properties so this was my only negative comment regarding our vacation.

Comments from 2 wk stay: -A guide book on how all the video systems worked would be helpful. -The LR DVD HDMI connector is damaged and couldn't be used. -Internet was just about useless and video streaming was impossible, either upgrade it like with a hot spot or don't advertise it exists. -2 kitchen cabinet doors need hinges reattached. -3rd floor bathroom not very clean. -Bunk bed room tv not hooked to cable system, the cable was missing. -Missing VIZIO tv remotes. Only 1 remote for multiple tv's on different floors. -Gas grill extremely dirty afraid to use due to risk of grease fire.

Great family place

It was a great place and nice location. Only negative is that I did not realize how early the pool closes. It closes around 8-9 PM. But in the end it was fine and the kids enjoyed the house!

I just wish the pool was on our property as opposed to next door. Otherwise everything was great.......but the dishwasher did not work. Get paper plates!

Great location

This townhouse had everything you might want or need and plenty of space for three families to spread out. I gave it four stars only because the internet is AWFUL. The pool is shared by 4 buildings with multiple units but it was never a problem with being overcrowded. The view is exceptional with a short walk to the beach. We had a great time. We rented a golf cart for the week which was a plus to just run around in and save getting sand in the car.

We enjoyed our stay House was beautiful ,it was well equipped, we rented both units and had more than enough room for all 18 of us. . beach was perfect. We had a wonderful vacation Teenagers we’re able to walk to the boardwalk

Perfect Place for Large Family

This house was exactly as described in the listing. The six bedrooms accommodated our family of multiple generations perfectly. There was plenty of space in the living, dining, kitchen area for all to gather together for meals and games. The kids loved the pool as well as the ocean. It was walking distance to the boardwalk. We enjoyed our week there and would love to do it again.

Great stay but lots of maintenance issues

We loved the property- great view and perfect setting for our large family. Nice pool and can’t beat the beachfront location. However, there were several things broken (chandelier, lights, fans, bathroom vents, beverage center, ice maker, the list goes on…) that took 4+ days to have fixed. I felt like I was constantly calling the property manager instead of enjoying my vacation. I would stay here again if we knew everything was truly in working order.

wonderful stay

We had a great time - the location was perfect - we were able to walk to the boardwalk for donuts, easy access to the beach and the property was wonderful. we had a few elderly guests staying with us and the elevator elevated the experience (no pun intended. ;)) I highly recommend if you're thinking about coming to the beach with a large group!

Wonderful Stay!

Excellent beach week! This is a great house for a large family or two. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, serving ware; really anything you could need with the exception of plastic cups for the pool or beach. BBQ worked well. Beds are firm but comfy. Beautiful views and close to the beach making it truly ideal. The rental agency was very responsive and easy to work with. We stayed during a Cat. 1 Hurricane and they were in regular contact with us. Had a few minor issues (ice and water maker in the fridge did not work well) and they came right away. While they were not able to fix it, they did bring us ice. There is only one drawback to this property and that is the Wifi. Wifi is unreliable with a very weak signal--even if you are in the same room as the router it still does not work. Rental company tried to help but it's likely a function of the service or speed coupled with the fact that the configuration of the house might impeded the signal so more than one router is probably needed. Bottom line though is that if you need wifi for work or streaming, don't count on it. Otherwise its a wonderful house for a beach trip and we would not hesitate to rent it again.

Be prepared.

Not a sheet of toilet paper, a few paper towels, some kitchen soap - no bath soap. No beach towels. Six dishwasher pods, no laundry pods. Elevator a definite plus Britt’s donuts and boardwalk about 15 minute walk.

Great vacation

Beautiful house, comfortable furniture, loved the pool & easy access to the beach. Had a problem with hot water in showers but it was fixed quickly. Was disappointed that the grill was not available and only option was for us to rent one. Other than that it was a great vacation for all of us.

Great Vacation

When arriving to get the keys, it was very orangized and fast! The property it self is wonderful and on the beach. The inside of the house was very nice and held a lot of people with seating. The kitchen was very very well equipped and everything in the house worked. The bedrooms were spacious, BUT 3 of our six bedrooms had no linens on the beds, we did call and they quickly brought us the sheets. The kitchen counter tops and floor was not cleaned upon arriving. Also, I believe when you rent a house of this size and money, every bathroom should be supplied with a least a starter roll of toilet paper!!! I also understand why they do not supply the house with beach chairs (because of people stealing), and the do offer to rent at a unreasonable amount, but again with the cost of the house it should be included. We have rented many beach homes and have never had to rent them before, your better off buying your own, and that’s what we did. All said and done I would rent this house again, we had a wonderful time!!!

Wish we'd gotten the insurance, but hindsight is always 20/20!

We were heartbroken that Hurricane Florence ruined our plans to come to the Carolina Beach Dragonboat Festival on Sept. 13th (cancelled). A houseful of family and friends pooled our funds and were so looking forward to the beach house! It looks so amazing and beautiful. We hope the house fared well during all that wind and water and we really hope to be able to reschedule for a later date. Most of us have managed through hurricanes since we were coming from Charleston, SC. Stay safe residents of Carolina Beach and Seacoast Rental staff during the cleanup and aftermath of the storm.
