Cute place, amazing location

A couple blocks from the main boardwalk area, but far enough to get quiet time. Small, but it's got what you need - kitchen/living room, one bedroom that sleeps 3, and a large bathroom! Would stay here again.

Need laundry

The property was clean and habitable upon arrival. But The master bed squeaks every time you get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. It’s really that Loud. I didn’t realize upon booking that there was no laundry located in the unit so we had to go to the laundromat to wash our clothes in the middle of the night. And trust me it wasn’t fun. Also sand gets everywhere as there are no rugs to trap the sand when you first come in. And I was wondering why there was a dehumidifier in the unit. Discovered that when it rained water leaked from the front door into the kitchen, causing a puddle. Luckily, we had nothing really by the door except for our towels. The property wasn’t awful we did enjoy parts of it but just because of having no laundry in the unit, the water leaking in and just sand getting everywhere despite rinsing off outside we probably won’t be booking again. The location to the beach was great and the manager was very kind and helpful but if you do anything please replace the bed/frame it’s really awful and uncomfortable when you are trying to sleep.

Cozy stay, great location

Was exactly as advertised. Cozy condo, well maintained, clean and neat. Location and convenience to the beach was great. Parking was no issue. Master bed is a little uncomfortable but besides that it was a great experience. Would stay here again!

All you need!

This place has plenty of space and a large bathroom! Only hassle is that you have to bring your own linens. I like that I could park right next to my room (#4) and it was a short walk to the beach. Nearest restaurants are about half a mile away.

The room was great. TVs with Roku, WiFi, and nice cold AC.. dining table being very off balance is my only complaint … Beach access literally across the street. Walking distance from the strip. Most noise you’ll hear is your upstairs neighbors.. area is great and safe.. will rent again.

Wonderful stay!!

My husband and I have vacationed at Carolina Beach several times, and this was one of our favorite properties that we have ever stayed at!! Clean, close to everything, hardwood floors - we seriously could not BELIEVE how close we were to the public beach access! It also was not crazy busy where we were located on the beach, so it was easy to find a spot even in the middle of the day! The owner was SO accommodating and checking in was a BREEZE! Highly recommend this place!!

Awesome!

Great location to beach access and beach was not crowded! Kids and I had a great time, boardwalk was close but not walkable in the heat this week. Property was well stocked with cooking supplies but make sure you bring all extras and spices! Ac worked great and it was a perfectly comfortable stay. Thank you!!

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much! We did have to go purchase an iron because the one in the house was broke also the plug-in in the bathroom does not work so curling your hair was a challenge since there is only one mirror in the house. But not complaining at all, we really love the house just letting you know so those can be fixed and replaced.

The area in general was a little crowded for my liking. The space inside was nice and overall clean. Some bathroom fixtures could use updating. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Parking is very tight as it says in the description but it’s like that everywhere in this area. An overall nice stay for the price.

Carolina Beach vacation

We had an awesome time! Location to the beach was amazing! Location to the boardwalk was great, too. The condo is so cute! Only thing missing was a washer/dryer, we had to run to laundromat a few times to wash beach towels. The beds weren’t the most comfortable. The chair and couch were actually very very comfortable! Overall we really enjoyed the condo. Location to beach was the best and exactly what we were hoping for!

SandDollar suite 4.

Had a great stay. Location is right across from beach access and boardwalk is only a few blocks down. Only issue we had was living room a/c doesnt cool very well(it was about 90 outside all week though)the bedroom a/c kept it nice and cool for sleeping so the living room was not a big issue. Place is very clean and kitchen well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing. Had everything we needed to make our trip a wonderful trip! Very cozy, quiet location. We loved that it was walking distance to the beach access (across the street) and to boardwalk! Will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

Good overall

We experienced a few hiccups over our 4 night stay, but I’d say that overall we had a decent stay. Upon arrival we noticed that the door to the unit was not locked and through out the stay the keyless lock was a bit tricky to function. The unit was also not as described. Previous to renting and even now on the site it says that Sand Dollar Suite #4 has two pull out futons/sofa sleepers in the living room but there was only one. The location is absolutely perfect for coming and going to the beach, the boardwalk, and local shops/restaurants. We enjoyed being able to access everything so smoothly. There was almost no need to drive unless we were going to the store. I’m the type of person that likes to keep as much communication as possible through the app but the owner wants renters to send messages and emails to a maintenance company. The biggest hiccup we had was a force of nature that caused water to flood into the unit during the night. A maintenance manager, Ethan, arrived to help with cleanup around 8 or 9am. Ethan and his team did a wonderful job at removing the soaked carpets, the couch cushions, and removing all of the water from the floor. They placed sand bags in front of the door just in case there would be more rain. Thank you so much, Ethan! Overall, I think we had a wonderful time in Carolina Beach at Sand Dollar Suites #4.

Sabbatical Stay

Really great experience. We had one hiccup initially, but Dale, the host, responded within minutes and solved our problem. We stayed almost 3 weeks and the place met our needs. It is so close to the beach and the boardwalk. This made it super easy to pop back and forth throughout the day. The views from the place are not great but did not make a difference since we had the beach just across the street.

Great location! Right across street to beach access.

I recommend adding some amenitites such as a 9x13 or 9x9 pan, mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, a larger pot... and a pot holder would have been nice. We planned cooking in a lot during the week due to COVID and were disappointed when we had to go to dollar store to purchase some items. Add an air conditioning unit to the bedroom. When you close the door for privacy, you shut off all access to cooling to that part of the unit. Location is good. You can't see the ocean, but access is right across the street. Easy walking distance into and around town. Nice area.
