Perfect beach getaway.

This was perfect for a long 4th of July weekend. The location was exactly where we wanted. We walked across the street to the beach access and watched the fireworks sitting on the beach !! It was all this party of 2 needed. We walked to the Boardwalk area so no need to drive the car for 5 days. The parking area is short, as mentioned in the description, so we made it all fit in the Honda sedan instead of my taking the big SUV. It would not have fit!! A couple of kitchen utensils would have been nice. No large serving spoons, tongs, etc. Just one larger tablespoon in the silverware drawer. Next time I'll throw in one from home. Other than that, I came prepared and we lacked for nothing - except rain and a large crowd- which is what you want for a beach trip. It's been years since I've been to Carolina Beach and will definitely go back to this little place right across from the beach!

Good for what we needed!

The vrbo was right across the street from the beach access which was amazing. Walking distance from restaurants and bars. Very sparse amenities and accommodations. The manager sends a very detailed check in/out rules prior to check in and is very responsive. You have to bring your own linens makes sure not to miss that in your check in instructions or they give a service to rent linens from a company close by. We would definitely stay at this location again for a short weekend.

Short Beach Trip

Perfect small condo by the beach! It was cleaned well and had everything we needed. It was 2 adults and our 2 16 year old kids. They slept on the futon and said it was fine. Would definitely stay again!

Parking Nightmare/Uncomfortable Beds/Sporadic Internet

It was a miserable experience. Our Ford F150 would not fit in suite 1's assigned 8X14 spot so we had to find alternate parking. There was small paragraph in the description that we totally missed but when the emails began to come this parking issue was discussed in detail (6/29 for a 7/1 check in) -too late to cancel. The plastic cover on the queen mattress made the sheets wrinkle and stick. We had uncomfortable sheet marks every morning. The Wi-Fi was intermittent and since I couldn't send an email I tried to call on the number provided. No answer and no way to leave a message. The floor in front of the stove was sinking and spongy.

Carolina Beach stay

Everything is pretty much as listed. The only bad part is if your rental is on the street side of the property you better have a compact car because a medium to full size suv or truck will be too long to fit in your assigned spot and will be out in the street. In this case you will have to pay for public parking which is $25 a day. Other than that a real decent place for the money.

Good Value

The unit is very clean, the location is great (adjacent to a public beach access), and the host/owner is very responsive. For these reasons alone you can count on this being a good choice! Suggestions for improvements, and points to be aware of: the bed is very basic…the futon might even be more comfortable. There are no curtains, and the blinds in the bedroom are not as wide as the window, letting a lot of light in the bedroom. The TV audio is poor…it seems to either be too quiet or too loud, there is little in between. You’ll be given only one roll of toilet paper, so bring your own or there won’t be backup roll. There are lamps that appear decades old and were probably cheap then, so now in 2023 you have to wonder why they haven’t been updated, even with a new cheap lamp. But overall, at the time of writing this, it’s a good value as far as what you get and the cost. If you’re priority is a clean and functional unit without spending a fortune, this is a good choice. If you want to spend a couple hundred more total on your trip for a different unit, you’d probably find the upgrades to be significant for that price point.

I highly recommend this condo!

This was the perfect spot. It was steps from the beach, restaurants, the boardwalk and it was peaceful. The condo was just as described! It had everything I needed! I absolutely loved it! I will be booking this condo again!

A Great Time in a Great Location

Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The property was clean. We had a short walk to the beach and to the boardwalk. The kids had a great time! We will be back.

This place is so close to everything. It had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The only thing I wished it had was a dishwasher. I will Definitely rent here again.

Not as described

The only thing going for this place is location. Photos on site are not indicative of the dated furniture. For example the Sleeper sofa is actually a futon, the flat top stove is a 4 burner with tin foil lining the drip trays, the farmhouse table is a heavily worn Formica top table with 4 vintage wicker chairs that appear unsafe to sit in, the lamps and side chairs are from the 70s or 80s. There is not even a shower curtain only a shower liner. Floors are buckled and walls are in poor repair.

Exactly as described

I loved being so close to the beach and the center of town and found it easy to walk everywhere. Downside was throwing away so much stuff because we flew in and couldn't take things back with us. I'll stay in a hotel next time because I didn't like the fact that we had to purchase towels and linens to only throw them away after our trip. I wanted the experience of staying in an VRBO but not a good idea if your flying in. It's cheaper to buy than rent them as suggested by the posting. Perfect for someone driving in and has the ability to bring those items not provided and take them back home. Overall great trip, great location... Just a lot of waste thrown away.

Dave Matthew’s Band Celebration

Perfect location. Entire area is a bit older than we are used to but lots of new buildings going up around the area. Parking is sketchy at best. No TV in the bedroom (I overlooked in the description). 50’ walk to the beach makes all the little negatives irrelevant.
