This was our family’s second stay (wife, two teenagers one friend, and dog). It was just as great as we remembered. Easy check in/out process. The hosts are super accessible, friendly, and communicative. The house is at an amazing location on Pleasure Island with everything you’d need within walking distance. Lots of storage for our beach toys and bikes. Outside shower is perfect after a few hours in the surf and sun. The beach is less than a two minute walk. Great view for the fireworks on Thursday night. Overall this property is a perfect place for our family’s annual Carolina Beach summer vacation.

Great getaway!

We loved the location of this place as it was convenient to the beach and the veggie wagon! We could walk to the board walk. We hope to stay again next year!

Christmas in Carolina Beach

Nice Thanksgiving stay!

Cute cottage. Roomy. Convenient to everything. Could use more comfortable living room fur iture and the dryer didnt work which was quite inconvenient. Thankfully there was a laundry mat just across the street. Plus Butts and Such has such good food, also just across the street!

Wonderful Week

Very comfortable cottage located very conveniently to beach and activity of boardwalk and restaurants. Great elevated front porch to watch the world go by below and take in great sunsets. Great outdoor shower

Great Property in CB

This traditional CB beach cottage was modern and comfortable. Lots of room. Very clean with comfortable furniture and beds. Near everything. Walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Right across the street from a favorite, the Veggie Wagon. The beach is across the street with two beach access walkways close by.

GREAT location, responsive host

We had a great week at this lovely beach house. The AC went out on a very hot day, and we were amazed when it was repaired in just a couple of hours! We could not have had a better experience.

Amazing Vacation

We absolutely loved this place. We were one block off the beach. We could walk to anywhere we needed to. The home was clean and ready for us. This is the first place we had to make up our beds to start but no problem. We would stay here again. One of our favorites.

Vacation stay

The location was on a busy road with a lot of noise. Could use a good word document with house rules and details about what’s available. Didn’t find out until the end of the week the property had a washer and dryer. Grill was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. Overall it was okay but I wouldn’t rent the location again.

Family Vacation

We stayed here and loved it! The set up of the house was perfect for our family. My parents and brother took the rooms off of the kitchen and shared the bathroom. My husband and I and our 2 kids (ages 2 and 6 months) took the rooms in the back and shared a bathroom. We could block off our section of the house for nap time without anyone else being bothered or having to be silent. We loved the outdoor shower and how the laundry was located outside of the beach house so we could do wash without disturbing anyone. The host was awesome. Our vacation was the best. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Space

Very well done beachy Cottage located in great area & close to walk to Boardwalk & Restaurants. Loved sitting on porch with our dogs watching the variety of people walk by & traffic. Close walk to beach & the outside shower was a hit with the guy in the family. We cooked in several times & could have used a large pot for boiling Shrimp but we made due with what was there - the grill was not clean which we would have used - maybe consider a Gas grill? Except for some new kitchen items it was a great layout for a family & nice we were able to bring our 4 legged babies 🐾🐾

Perfect getaway

This house was very clean and had everything that we needed. Loved the outdoor shower. It is a very short walk to the beach. So conveniently located to stores and restaurants that we didn't have to drive hardly at all during our stay. Will maintained, clean, and a great location!

Fantastic place and location

Lovely Beach Cottage

The cottage was very well kept, with everything we needed and more! We really liked the beachy decor and different themes in the rooms. Linens were included, and the dog pen was a plus. Family Friendly with Great Location

Second time at this location, two years apart. This home has been in the owner's family for decades, using the home themselves during the year. Great for families with 4 bedrooms,. everything you need kitchen, kid books games boogie boards. We appreciate their pet policy, and our pups love the walks around beach town and on the sand. House has everything. Walking distance to town. Fast food and organic store across the street. Cross the alley to the beach. Walking park less than a block to watch birds and exercise. Great stay!
